Democrats Increasingly Worried Minnesota Could Flip for President Trump
quote:
Minnesota Democrats estimate that as many as 250,000 white residents who didn’t go to college—the heart of Trump’s base—weren’t registered to vote in 2016. Republicans are taking pains to find them. While Democrats in the state have largely suspended door-to-door campaigning because of the pandemic, Republicans have kept at it. Last week, volunteers knocked on more than 130,000 doors in the state, a campaign official told me. “This is the largest organization that we’ve seen a Republican put into this state, in terms of advertising dollars, principal visits, and staff on the ground,” Ken Martin, the chair of the Minnesota Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party, told me. “There’s no doubt that they have a significant operation here.”
quote:
Biden’s lead in Minnesota stands at 5 percentage points, according to the Real Clear Politics average of polls. That number could be inflated. State-level polling proved flawed in 2016: Clinton won Minnesota by 1.5 percentage points even though some of the final polls showed her up by double digits. “Knowing what we do about 2016, we would all be foolish to imbue the polls with undue certainty,” Charles Franklin, a pollster, told me. Both Biden and Trump are scheduled to make dueling appearances in Minnesota today.

How tasty would this be if Trump DID win Minnesota? Just shows you the mindset of both parties. Shows you, if you stop and suspend activities due to the Virus, it will cost you!

Citizens saw their largest city burn while their elected officials stood by like little Nero's.
The only way it doesn't flip is via massive Dem fraud.

MN needs to wake up and realize that when they vote in trash like Ilhan Omar, they get trash results.
I know plenty of very good people in MN, but your voting patterns suck. Be better Minnesota.

How any on the places where that type of nonsense went down this summer can keep voting Democrats into office after they stood by and let it happen is beyond comprehension.

Reading the article, the Trump campaign worked hard with the voting segment of non college/Hispanics/minority. This may show during the election who wins...I think Biden and the democrats have not done a good campaign and gaining support from this segment.

Bruh if they flip Minnesota I would LMAO. That fricking state is so blue, they even refused to vote for Reagan who ended up taking every state except Minnesota in his 2nd term.

But I was told Biden was up +23

Trump's ground campaign has mostly been ignored by the media but everything you read points to it being massive and effective.

It's not as blue anymore. It's been trending red hard.
And Reagan lost Minnesota because Mondale was from there.

Absolutely the segment that Biden team focused on with the seniors. With the COVID message.

If I was a Biden guy I would be doing a lot of this this weekend. Hell I'm a Trump guy and I'll be doing it.

So condescending.
I’m a white male who didn’t finish college but I’m probably smarter than 90% of democrats

Looks like the early voting is mostly the college/educated (white suburban mothers) and seniors. I don’t think the pollsters are really seeing the support for Trump with the minority/non college voting segment. Looks like that could get Truo the re-election.

You know damn well what that elitist writer was labeling them as...in his eyes they are...
Truck driving, flag waving in the back red neck label (and I know a bunch of folks here in that segment that are proud, hard working folks.)

quote:Yep. The only way a reliably Dem state, in a Dem leaning election can win, is voter fraud. Even though Biden will probably win by couple hundred thousand votes.
