Listened to a 4 part podcast on Mao and the horrors of the cultural revolution. One specific instance, a military officer was forced to kill his own son, because his son was caught stealing food to feed his family. I believe they made him bury his son alive, or some other horrific and cruel punishment. The father later killed himself because of this.
It was just illustrating the horrors of Mao, and how these horrific instances were so common place. It's amazing that politicians like Hillary Clinton openly support Mao, and aren't thrown in jail or at least admonished for their support of such a mass murderer.
If you are interested, the podcast is called "Real Dictators". It's very well done.

The New Left that rioted at the 1968 Democratic Convention were Little Red Book thumping Mao lovers. They are now the dominant voice in the DNC.

I’ve started reading Hitlers First 100 Days. Only 20 or so pages in but the author laid out already how the Nazis were able to completely destroy their opposition and institute their horrific policies. There are some scary parallels to what them democrats are doing today.
What we are seeing is a combination of Nazis and Maoist techniques to institute a Marxist society. Instead of class warfare they are using cultural Marxism with Nazis propaganda techniques. I always wondered how they got an entire country to get behind killing off the Jews. But, we see how thoroughly vilified the white conservatives have become It’s amazing and frightening to watch.
What we are seeing is a combination of Nazis and Maoist techniques to institute a Marxist society. Instead of class warfare they are using cultural Marxism with Nazis propaganda techniques.
