Your people were too busy impeaching the President over some bs from a phony whistleblower to care even if Trump had raised the alarm. You'd have called it a distraction from the official proceedings and called for another article to be filed.

literally all he had to do was take it seriously. we knew China was stalling and hiding shite, everyone did, but trump just wanted this to go away so when China told him what he wanted to hear he didnt question it for a second.
I'm critical of Trump for how he has handled the virus, but on the opposite end of the spectrum. He's done too much, should have let the virus be a virus while isolating those most at-risk. But to what you've posted above - it's comical, really.
Why would Trump be taking the threat of the virus back in Jan and Feb differently than he did when Fauci and the rest of the nation's experts were telling everybody (on national TV) that Coronavirus was a "minuscule" threat compared to the real threat, which was the annual flu in their expert opinion.
All the shite you posted with dates flies in the face of the advice given to him by the people the Left now whine he never listens to.

The official CDC policy is still...
"Social distancing should be practiced in combination with other everyday preventive actions to reduce the spread of COVID-19, including wearing masks.
So what the frick is our policy? What are we supposed to be doing? Why are the Surgeon General and CDC saying to do things that trump doesnt do? What is the plan here?
The CDC has flipflopped on masks a couple of times. You don't remember Fauci telling America wearing a mask was useless?

if nothing else, we watched this ravage Italy, we watched it race through Europe and the UK, we saw it in real time, on a daily basis. we knew that was coming for us, but trump didnt ban any of those flights did he.

That’s a lot of work, timelines, and selective quotes & facts. Unfortunately, it’s irrelevant and very little of it is applicable.
The early outbreak in the state Washington was from China. That’s it. The vast majority of cases since then until now came from Europe.
The virus mutated somewhere between China and the time it got to Europe. That mutated strain is the one that caused the outbreak in North America.

and when asked what he would dom biden listed 7 or 8 items already done by Trump
He couldn't even come up with anything on his own with 20-20 hindsight
You cannot just bitch about Trump without offering any alternative.
So the dem alternative is to slam the country shut at every hint of danger?
We will be cowering in the dark within a decade

quote:trumps ban is only for direct flights. flights that start in China but stop somewhere first were never banned, they come to the US all the time. or you could just fly to Hong Kong, thats never been on the ban list. which is like banning flights from the US but not NYC.
Don't forget about Cuomo circumventing the travel ban by allowing flights from Canada with Chinese nationals into NYC.
and this is the thing maga says trump did right.

Without a single honest mention of what he actually did wrong, what they would have done different, and what they will do if elected?

I live in a maybe swing State. The dems have been running Joe in factories creating jobs, commercials. Showing the ANTIFA rioters and blaming Trump.
They are playing extra dirty.
They are playing extra dirty.

Wow, you're an idiot. He took action January 31st while the dems were crying "xenophobia!" He brought in private companies to fix the failure of the CDC with their insistence on developing their own test. He provided hospital ships to NY who didnt use them, meanwhile cuomo sent positive cases back to nursing homes. Should the federal government have wiped down the NY subways? Should the federal govwrnment have shutdown Mardi Gras?
Nobody, nobody was up for any shutdowns in February and the dems were still encouraging people to visit China towns across the country during and after their new year.
Who in their right state of mind would downvote that?
Whoever the serial downvoter is, you are so filled with hate you take a factual post and dislike it because of MUH FEELINGS and OMB. Instead, just log off if you can't handle facts. For fricks sake.

a flight ban is the number one thing maga brags about, and even that was a complete disaster.

we banned travel from Europe before Europe banned travel among its members
so if Trump failed, Europe super failed, correct?

Americas greatest blessing has always been the oceans, the same thing that kept us safe in two world wars bought us weeks to prepare for this. we wasted that.

it's not likely legal for the POTUS to do this. this is a matter of state order, and even then, it's probably not legal

what are your purported better policies? when should they have been enacted?
are you just saying we should have closed down our borders? when, exactly?
and
what realistic difference do you think they would make by August, 2020?

I don't recall Fauci communicating his recommendations with memes on Facebook, but if you say he did, okay. What I do recall is him being interviewed on national TV and letting everybody know as late as Feb 28 that Coronavirus was not an imminent threat, was "miniscule" in comparison to the the real "present" danger, the flu.

Sure he did. Trump suspended travel from border-free Europe to the US on March 12, which was two days after Italy was locked down and at a time when there were less than 1,500 confirmed cases in the US.
