Shocker. If true, that eliminates that angle (law enforcement detention) and makes it citizen on citizen. I’m sure the 2 initial DAs - Jackie Johnson & George Barnhill - would have readily pointed out he was still certified law enforcement had that been the case.

I believe multiple members of the police department were suspended for some reason. You should read the internal memo Barnhill wrote to the chief of police. His description of the video was absolutely insane. LINK

Is there an autopsy or police report supporting this hammer and Timberlands narrative that keeps getting floated?
No.
Yet ironically it keeps getting brought up by the same crowd that "want to wait until all the facts come out"

Once you point a gun at someone else, you lose any claim that you would have had for self defense. You are now the aggravator. The other party is in defense posture.
George Zimmerman disagrees
I may be mistaken, but Zimmerman attacked without the gun. The gun became part of the struggle. This happens all of the time with police officers. When chasing/grabbing someone, the grabbing is usually done with 2 hands.

Funny how this board keeps trying to paint this man as a criminal without any factual evidence yet to support the claim.
This board constantly went crazy as leftist tried to paint Kavanaugh as a rapist with no evidence and how the left kept trying to make him prove his innocence rather than the accusers prove his guilt.
Maybe something comes out to prove he wasn’t innocent but until then this man is innocent of any felony based on what is publicly known.
Seems like the racist on the board can’t picture a black man running unless he is running from a crime he committed.

.....actually I'm not angry at all. I was merely confronting a fraud who presented himself as a white conservative and got testy when I asked some probing questions. The same so-called white conservative who most likely voted for that democrat creep JBE. The same so-called conservative that continues to hold Louisiana at the bottom of every economic indicater in the nation. I'm so sick of seeing so-called conservative posters on this forum saying stuff like, "I'm a Rispone Republican but I voted for JBE because........"
Now go away, sit in the corner, and munch on your marijuana cookies.
Good Day!

quote:Everyone wants to take extremes. They want it to appear that their party is completely innocent. Experience has taught me there is always pretext. That the parties involved believe they are justified in the actions they took up until a felony occurs. Ahmaud is not completely innocent. But he was not ambushed either. There was a pretext that led to the confrontation that he contributed to. But that does not justify the actions the son took. He is unequivocally guilty in my opinion. Ahmaud took reasonable actions in the final moments leading up to his death to avoid the deadly conclusion. The son did not. He was irresponsible in his actions.

You'll have to forgive him. I hear it's tough to come up with new insults when your IQ is below room temperature.

Oh and one more thing "Damone". The term "Cracker" is a racist term used to demean white males.
Definition of the term Cracker: A degrading term used as an insulting and contemptuous term for a poor, white, usually Southern person
For the record......you're a racist. In conclusion here for your enjoyment contemplate a depiction of my poor white southern arse.
Good day!

I absolutely believe they are guilty. I just do not believe that there was absolutely, positively no pretext involved. Something led to this. But that “something” does not justify what eventually occurred. Every action I saw taken by Ahmaud is what I would expect of a reasonable person in a similar situation (evade, flee, resist). Every action taken by the perpetrators during the confrontation (detain with deadly force) is unreasonable and unjustified regardless as to pretext. But there was pretext. There always is.

I saw the short video. These two idiots fricked up and murdered this guy. That was not self defense. The son committed first degree murder. He pulled the trigger and I think will be convicted as he should. I suspect the father will plead down to a lesser charge being the non shooter. To me they deserve what they get.

Eh. It seemed pretty insubstantial. But we may know more soon. The 911 call I think would have included that information if pops knew that.
