They will all try to moderate and say “we only went crazy cause Trump is a dictator Nazi and we had to oppose him, but now we want to be strong on immigration, trust us bro.”
Something to that effect will be their messaging.

they have been doing this for decades
it is the ONLY tactic they have = but it would not be successful if not for the willing support from the propaganda media 'news' networks.
Democrats could not survive with their current agenda if not for the 'journalists'

You think Trump is the only Republican they have done this to? Lol
This is the first time in my 40+ years they have zero platform remaining. They've always demonized but they simultaneously stood for some semi-popular stances. All of that has been abandoned due to TDS tunnel vision.

A bunch of nonsense about Trump being a dictator for life. Wasted time and energy. These people are so emotionally reactive like children.

Did you not live through the last 4 years? It's still TDS. They blamed everything on Trump the last 4 years.

I agree. They built an entire party and identity on fighting a single boogieman. Their villain will be gone in a few years leaving them with a very empty identity.
The logical step is they will still use TDS and try to paint every (R) as Trump's henchman. That doesn't have the same weight.

What will the GOP do?
I like Vance, but I don’t see chaos with him.
I love the actions taken by Trump, but his inviting "chaos" is not necessarily a positive...even though we enjoying watching blue hair's head exploding. I hope that Vance/Rubio can use the same policy that have proven their worth without the need for a lot of the immaturity.

Trump (and the Democrats' response to him) isn't the problem for the Democratic party.
Their big problem is that they have allowed wedge social issues to become the basis of their party's platform. They have allowed issues that only impact a small percentage of the population to dominate their goals and agendas while ignoring the big issues. Historically, for both parties, those wedge issues have only served the purpose of galvanizing the base, they were never the guiding light of either party. Healthcare, the economy, education, etc. have historically been the foundation of both D and R with different ideals and goals differentiating the two. Those policies are the key to the middle.
Democrats have lost the middle because they have allowed the wedge issues to become the core of their party. They've even alienated some of their own historical base by embracing this as their platform.

They will drag whoever Trump endorses through court after court, try to assassinate them, sue them in every blue State, raid their home.
So it is of my opinion that the GOPe in on it like crossfire hurricane-- will try like hell to give Hakeem the gavel. Impeach Trump....
Then Vance or whoever better have the money to survive. If they tried to assassinate Vance, DeSantis, or just about anyone they would bow out-can you blame them?
It is why TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE to clean out the intel community/govt.
If an R did win, if they don't run to a podium and declare globalization, Ukraine funding, and climate change number one-They will treat them like they did Dubya and Reagan. If they got out of line and don't neocon out- they will sue them into bankruptcy.
I think Vance will choose Youngkin and we will all be Pence fooled. Hope I am wrong.

The Democrat Party will no longer exist as it is by 2030. They are so far gone, there is no way blue dog democrats and middle of the road democrats and come to a consensus with the progressive wing who has taken over.
It is a very small minority that is causing all the problems.
