They do not want the debt ceiling raised along with not doing some other measures to cut spending. I think that’s what is happening.

This CR had the same level of spending today as it did yesterday, but the debt ceiling was suspended, meaning there was no limit on the debt. I don’t trust Congress or the government to spend responsibly without any limits.

I don’t understand “conservatives” that complained about the debt and Biden for four years supporting a bill with an unlimited debt ceiling.
I thought we wanted to reign in spending?
It’s a so confusing and entertaining at the same time to watch the shift.
