They don't want to win election next time. Even though this didn't pass, it shines a bright light on RINOs who need purging

Chip Roy of Texas, maybe the most conservative member of the house, is a RINO?

They do not want the debt ceiling raised along with not doing some other measures to cut spending. I think that’s what is happening.

Just look at stuff like that as entertainment.

There are some GOP members who are opposed to passing CR's on principle because it's not regular order (passing 12 funding bills individually and on time).

We all want that. That's what Johnson promised.

Unfortunately, we are not in a position to give the Freedom Caucus what it wants at this time.

fricking Chip wants to fight any time he gets the stage. He needs to be better at strategy or gain more power. The dude is a flake and a fraud.

They're not in a position to do what Trump wants, either. So here we are.

I think he believes its a game. He's the only one seeing it that way though He loves creating chaos then delivering his faithful from it.

To kick the can down the road and force an abomination of a bill to be passed in the summer.

All they have done is force the next continuing resolution to be the focus of Trump's first six months in office.

I don’t think that’s entirely accurate, looking at the no votes on the R side.

It’s not the number of pages that matter - it’s what’s in those pages.

This CR had the same level of spending today as it did yesterday, but the debt ceiling was suspended, meaning there was no limit on the debt. I don’t trust Congress or the government to spend responsibly without any limits.

Hitler had a role and a voice.

Stop the goddamn ridiculous spending. Idc who comes up with the idea or influence to get it done.

I don’t understand “conservatives” that complained about the debt and Biden for four years supporting a bill with an unlimited debt ceiling.

I thought we wanted to reign in spending?

It’s a so confusing and entertaining at the same time to watch the shift.

And that's exactly why so many are frustrated with Trump dropping this demand on them at the last minute

They are all characters of themselves.

Bottom line here is...they all want the money. Daddy said no.

We can all argue how he's going to spend it.

I think it's inevitable we are going to spend it.

The question is...on what and will he get the economy cranking enough to afford it.
