Indians are the most privileged conquered people in world history.

The amount of taxpayer freebies they get is stunning.

the desperation to be a victim is palpable.

not one soul is advocating what this moron claims.

Fact check: true. I grew up 10 miles from the country's largest reservation.
There was a dry arroyo called 'cheese wash', so-called because that's where the navajos would dump their free government cheese. Why did they take it if they hated cheese? I guess we'll never know.

I'm not claiming this charlatan.

Some Indigenous people say that Martin perpetuates harmful stereotypes about Native people, like calling himself a “savage” in multiple tweets. Some who have looked into his claims about his ancestry and tribal enrollment told the Daily Dot that they are skeptical about his lineage.

A few said they even think Martin is a “pretendian,” or someone pretending to have Native and/or Indigenous ancestry.

quote:

Martin has insisted on multiple occasions that he is Native, but some Native people say that the way that Martin represents their community—which already struggles with visibility and representation—is damaging.

Plus, they say that a figure with questionable motives like Martin speaking for Native people with such a large platform combats the hard-won progress that Native activists and advocates have made in increasing wider understanding of modern Indigenous existence and struggles.

For this story, the Daily Dot investigated Martin’s claims about his ancestry and spoke with Indigenous people familiar with his online presence. Martin did not respond to multiple interview requests.

This guy is a TDS loon and a troll on X. He's been doing it for a long time. He's not even Lakota, apparently.

Bro, you didn't get to choose what came in the government food box.

The bigger question is why the frick were they sending cheese to the reservation. Indians are overwhelmingly (92%) lactose intolerant. They can't eat it.

Seminole Indian Tribe distributes over $100,000 each year to each member based on % of Seminole / Indian . Family of four starts off with free $500k every year. Most also work in the casinos.

They all make bank.

My (adopted) son is 57% native Lakota. He's not completely lactose intolerant, but yeah. Thanks for bringing that up, Evolved. That's something I didn't know about. And thinking about it, I can see it.

The Lakotas originated in the MN/WI area, fought other tribes as they migrated to SD where they took over the area and called it their sacred ground. The white man isn't the OG colonizer after all.

Most people's bodies greatly reduce production of lactase in adulthood. The notable exceptions are those who for millennia had to rely on animal milk (cow, goat, sheep, and even camel) because of environmental conditions and animal husbandry.

Here's an interesting map. Native Americans, being descended from Asians, have similar likelihood of lactase impersistence.

ETA - It's why you have English Cheddar, Greek Haloumi, Arab Jibneh, and Indian Paneer, but you don't see much dairy in, say, Thai food

If we wanted to take this a step further, as for Natives, it could also be attributed to (at least cows) not being a native species to the continent. So less tolerance to their milk.
Great post, very much appreciate you sharing the research Evolved
