That's on you when you apparently decided not to take Biden's sage financial advice to eat more lentils about five years ago.

Why is a lack of new factories to blame for manufacturing jobs continuing to decline?

Hmmmmmm???
When reading below, consider Trump cut over 270,000 federal government jobs.

I think he is talking about manufacturing jobs, which you said tariffs would create.

Geez... what world do u live in???
Big wheels turn slow. The US economy is huge and it will take more than 8 months for things to turn around.

how can there possibly be 24 downvotes for this unchallengeable good news for AMERICA -

only those who hate America can possibly be 'sad' - but more likely they are just mad they could never get a scheme that would keep Trump from doing the job he was elected to perform.

Seems you can only express joy with something goes wrong for American interests.

Out of their 10 or so points, only 3 have anything to do with the real effects of tariffs, and it took them until point 3 to actually mention one.

Lmao. I have to admire the commitment to ignorance.

No there will be a lot of well off people. Not every family who has prepared has 1 child. Big wealth will be split between heirs and if the heirs are taught correctly they will have 401ks and Ira’s in place in sit on top of the boomer inheritance. Works great if you teach your kids finance and the needs versus wants.

We have to remember this is the longest average age wealthier folks have ever lived to so money isn’t broken up as quickly as it use to be meaning it will be larger amounts.

This probably sounded really good in your head. I’m sure your brilliant parents can see that they are in the minority then, and that the majority will vote to survive. Shame the brilliance only stayed in one generation.

Jealousy is a deadly sin my man. Instead of hoping and voting to hurt families maybe attempt to work harder and save some of your own money. Just a thought for those who seem a little perturbed by the fact there are folks out there who don’t need the approval of their neighbors.

Some folks say frick all that shite, I’m going to the top and no one is going to stop me from doing this.

Read the Bible. Slow wealth gain lasts longer than immediate wealth gain. Also, wealth doesn’t make you happy, at all. Remember that.

Yes. I'm tired of all those mainstream journalists in Britain being such cultist pro-Trumpers and glorifying everything he does. So nauseating...

The article is about pointing out how dumb economists are and how tarrifs work and they refuse to admit it, Not our fault all you can see is trump praise and it makes your vagina sandy.

Grow up, pussy.

Close, Oren is a well known conservative economist. He's been arguing the merits of this tariff policy since before Liberation Day. You can discuss the merits of his argument but it should start from a better foundation
