The warrant was signed by a magistrate and ruled legal by Judge Canon (after a long hearing on the issue). There is a long way to go to spin this as illegal.

We discussed these very scenarios and the dangers of the ruling when it came down. Trump people were celebrating at the time b/c it was a victory for Trump and they refused to listen to the potential permutations. I even specifically referenced these federal prosecutions. Those chickens are coming home to roost.
