The Barrett/Logoa Decision: What's the More Important Choice, Roe v Wade or 2nd Amendment?

1. Having an appointee that supports the repeal of Roe V Wade or 2. strengthening/protecting our 2nd amendment rights?

Most suburban women voters, that Trump needs for re-election, favor abortion being legal.

American gun ownership rights are favored by a more diverse group of Americans wanting protection from rioters, looters, and the other criminal element.

With Barrett you get the first and last one, to maybe Trumps's detriment. With Logoa you might get the first one but you know for sure you get the second one.

Right now I think it’s number two. They’ve been coming after the 2 really hard and I think it’s a much more winnable battle.

Amy will do both.

I'm not interested in anyone else.

SCOTUS has been refusing to hear gun cases lately, a new judge will change that.

I do not believe this! Do you have data for likely voters in this cohort? By race? By Age? By state?.....,outlandish claim!!

Abortion is not going away. I think, even with Barrett, one of the conservative justices will break ranks when the chips are down.

Therefore, by default, it’s the 2nd Amendment.

Without the 2nd Amendment, on a long enough timeline, this country will see a genocide.

Roe v Wade isn’t getting overturned, so just throw that consideration out. Even IF the right case comes up, and even IF ACB votes to overturn precedent, there are at most 2 who would vote with her. Roberts, Gorsuch and Kavanaugh are not going to vote against that sort of precedent.

I don’t have a preference for either, but Lagoa would be harder for the left to publicly go all in on attacking. And ultimately it could swing the hispanic vote a few percentage points.

I know this board is against affirmative action brown hires, but she seems perfectly qualified to me.

I have seen data that says women are slightly majority prolife

It's a nice talking point vs the progressives

ACB is perfect in the sense that the Democrats would look really bad attacking her.

2nd Amendment

Anyone that says otherwise hasn’t been paying attention to the American left for the last four years.

Second Amendment. Who cares if nasty whores abort their own kids -- I'd actually make it mandatory for leftists to get abortions if I could.

2A and it isn’t close.

One of these self-defense cases from the riots is going to get to the Supreme Court.

The left can’t ban guns, but they can ruin your life for using them morally appropriately.

We can’t let that happen

2A is far, far more important

One it is actually specified in the constitution
Second as the 2A goes, so goes the rest of our rights.

Even if Roe v Wade was overturned it doesn’t outlaw abortion. Just sends control to the states. Abortion would still be widespread.

I’m going 2A on this one.

All of this^^^^

2A all the way.. not really even close as it is in the constitutional and a good given right, IMO.

RE RvW - reversing won't make it illegal. like many Fed laws it should be a state level decision.

I don't agree with abortion but there are instances where it should be allowed up to a certain point in the gestation period.

Aborting Any unborn that is life sustainable outside the womb should be considered murder. IMO

Fed gov should also get out of prohibition laws and let states decide what is legal to consume.

2nd Amendment.

You don't need to worry about abortion being legal or illegal if your pull out game is strong.
