Skunkworks always worked. Still works. You get to hear about their work about 7 years after they have developed and worked it out. All the Stealth stuff had been worked out in 70's when people thought they were seeing UFO's....that's not to say there were not any UFOs

Folks have no idea how long thinks take to happen in this world

Ronnie was a B grade actor

The POTUS before him (both D and R made it work).

Now juxtapose that with Ronald Reagan's acceptance speech at the Republican Convention.

"We will get out of your way, this is America, now get off your butts and lets go kick some arse". So said so done.

He identified a number of key problems with his administration, but seemed to completely ignore every bit of advice offered to fix the problem and went in the complete wrong direction.

Again, how is Jimmy Carter an upstanding Christian when he built war machines that kill God’s children?

You can’t bang your chest that he’s the top Christian, then in a next comment cheer on him building weapons for war. Intended for one thing, to kill other people.

They may have made it work , but he knew how to swing the big stick, and use the power the USA represented to gain respect again on the world stage. You say he may have been a B grade actor, but he was an A+ President. that inspired people.

It’s half of a speech. He identified a problem, but offered ZERO leadership to resolve it or lead to a path of resolution. Democrats love to point out problems and criticize. Seldom do they offer pragmatic solutions or offer true leadership to implement solutions. Carter’s presidency was a failure of l was a failure of leadership. He and Biden have that in common.
