I've been upfront on this board, I never voted for Trump in 2016. I voted for McMullin.

I wish someone would lock up Trump's twitter, and I wish he showed a little more respect, if for no other reason then I think it's unbecoming of the office of the president to say and act some of the ways he has.

But I can respect the actions and efforts of Trump with regard to the economy, military, tax code, and other areas. I think this is all good for our country.

But to me, the biggest reason I'll be voting for Trump this fall is, there is no chance, no chance I would ever vote for any of these POS Democrats.

This week has proven just how terrible they are.

1) They hire a Clintonite to count votes

2) Their delegate allocation is very similar to the electoral college they all say they hate

3) Today they lose their insane, stupid impeachment trial, but they are already on the wagon of "he'll always be an impeached president)

4) Reps walking out of the SOTU

5) Pelosi's rip

When even Dem commentators are calling them out... you know they have gone too far.

It should ALWAYS be about results and Trump is getting things done while exposing the Democratic party for who they really are, a bunch of authoritarians.

Trump can be coarse, but he tends to treat people the way they treat him. The Democrats have taken unprecedented steps to undermine him, his presidency and the Constitution. Taking the high road is not the way to get the country back on track and it’s not the way to respond to today’s opposition. Trump knows this. Sure, he also revels in the dirty fight, but I am grateful that we have the right leader at the right time.

This is where he broke them. The curtain fell on their faux high road bull shite about respect and decorum with that.

People need to get to the polls and take the house back from the corrupt left. Imagine what good Trump could do if that happened.

I've always been a high road guy, I tend to hold high road expectations for our elected officials. I don't think this level of bickering and nastiness is good for anyone or good for our country.

But i also recognize you can only turn your cheek so many times.

I don't like seeing the GOP get drug down into the mud. But if they have no choice but to be in the mud, then yes, I want them fighting like hell.

I'm in a similar boat with LSUFanHouston. I am not nor will I likely ever be a fan of President Trump for many of the reasons you list. Nevertheless, his accomplishments are numerous and impressive, and the Democrats . . . oh, dear.

Trump doesn't play by their rules of civility. He doesn't make nice in order to let everyone benefit politically and financially. That's what has been going on for decades in Washington and it produces horrible policy. They are all on the same team and are afraid of what his presence and legacy will do to their hustle going forward. He punches back and he intentionally speaks and tweets with his emotions and with rhetoric that leads his opponents down a path to quicksand every time. What he says is gamesmanship. What he does tells me what kind of president he is.

It's been a path, but in the last few weeks and months, the Dems have removed any sense of decency and appropriateness.

Republicans taking the high road is exactly how we ended up with Obama and the liberal policies. Progressives see the high road as weakness. Add in the complicit media and they are "almost" unbeatable. Trump is the first person I have seen actually call out the media to their faces, with no apologies, and it's glorious.

I used to wish he tweeted less but no matter what he does or says he gets ripped from the left so I said "go for Mr President"

Respect and decorum is something you have because you think it is right, not because your opponent thinks it is right.

Trump wasn't the first person to disgrace the decorum of the president, I mean, we had a guy get a hummer in the oval office...
