They can get squashed like so many before them have for various reasons when the greater good comes into play. What makes them special?

They sued to get rid of a tax that was inconvenient for them.

I don't know about y'all but I find income taxes very inconvenient for me.

Maybe we should try out the courts too.

They all import components from foreign countries.

Pretty much everyone does. Thats how small businesses can compete with economies of scale. Without it, Big Corporations will be all we have.

They add value, sell for profit and we all benefit, but yall want that stopped.

When you become an Importer, you know the risks associated with getting your supply from other countries. Wars, economic changes, catastrophic events …. you don’t wish them on anyone, but the happen

Because Turnip II's tariffs support big corp, and hurt small business.
thanks for pointing that out.

I completely missed where Trump imposed tariffs on China and the EU but ONLY if the business buying the product had less than 500 employees.

I don't know how, but that tidbit completely escaped me and millions of other people's attention.

so, these 5 companies supported by the judicial branch are against free and completive markets? Seems that way. They sought government interference (from the judicial branch) to maintain their supply chain vs. their competitors.

Youre welcome. MAGA ignorance on tariffs runs rampant.

Big Corp can lose a little of their margin and survive, small business cannot. This is simply crony capitalism.

pretty much the whole post, yes.

I actually was not grateful that Roger highlighted that tariffs only apply to business with 500 or less employees.

And you figured out the rest.

Awesome.

Now do Obamacare, which according to the judicial branch is indeed a real tax, impact on small business.

Oh, and don't forget- since SCOTUS said ACA/Obamacare was a new tax (tax increase) Obama got to claim he cut the deficit while spending more thanks to CBO accounting.

That's different, apparently.

Someone goes out and builds a business based on current rules and they're the bad guy here. Not the customers who buy the products, just the guy who sells them. Sorta like Epstein.
