What would upset me (even slightly) about a meaningless hypothetical?
I also know enough about posters here to know that many of them lie perpetually. You really can’t trust what people claim they own or posses.

I was off in a way. I was under the impression OSS brought them here, but they relocated from Germany to New York in the 30s.

I hate to say it, but it’s the truth.
Anything that has given more political power to women and minorities has weakened this country. Not necessarily because of incompetence - although that’s true in a lot of cases - but because they often wield power vindictively out of spite and insecurity.
That’s because power was given to them by white men. It wasn’t taken. White men don’t sit around angry at Japan over Pearl Harbor because we turned around and kicked their arse in return and got over it - in a manner of speaking. Women and minorities didn’t earn their freedom in a similar way and harbor bitterness over it now that they are getting more and more political power.
And now we have all these damn Muslims coming in that are very actively trying to take as much power as they can - and don’t mind telling us so.
If you had showed the D-Day guys a crystal ball of what the United States (and the UK) would be like in 2044 and 2094, they might have just said frick it and gone home.
How NYC and London (the two greatest cities in western civilization) have fricking Muslim mayors less than 25 years after 9/11 is mindblowing to me. And that’s exactly how they’re going to beat us. We are going to give and give and give - while they don’t give shite. And eventually they’re going to have everything.
