So taking a knee is disrespectful for the anthem, but taking a knee to pray when someone is injured isn't? Who makes these rules about whether kneeling or standing is respectful?

They are taking a knee to specifically disrespect the flag. They “refuse to stand for this symbol of racism”. They 100% are not kneeling to honor the flag.
Did you not see what happened to Drew Brees? He said he loves and believes in what the flag represents and he was berated by 99% of the nfl and any idiot talking head.
The new claim in the last year has been “it’s not about disrespecting the flag” is nonsense. They say that to get idiots like you to take a knee with them.
