And the homosexual lifestyle is a healthy practice?

I hate the decision in Colorado forcing to do something you don't want to do with your labor and property like I hate the idea of this reparative therapy.

Platforms, generally, are just bull shite position papers. But that's one of the dumbest things I've ever read. So they oppose any law that would restrict access to counseling if a person desires it. Who the frick has suggested that there be a law restricting access to such counseling?
The APA. And all the other pro-homosexuality lobbying groups.

This kind of stuff is why republicans have trouble getting elected despite widespread disillusion with the democrats.

Spearheading the endorsement is Cathie Adams, president of the conservative Texas Eagle Forum. She stressed that the measure calls for allowing people to choose the treatment.
"Nothing is mandatory," Adams wrote in an e-mail to CNN on Saturday. "If a person chooses counseling, then it should be made available. California and New Jersey have passed bills OUTLAWING it altogether, which is under litigation. It's a freedom issue."
The only problem I see here is California and New Jersey who restrict an individuals right to pursue the type of counseling they feel is right for them.
The LGBT people really hate those people who do not want to embrace the LGBT lifestyle and choose to seek out avenues in attempts to change their lives. They get way too excited when people who try to change experience failure along the way.
One would think that LGBT's who are so desperate for acceptance would go out of their way to be tolerant of those who are attempting to live their lives according to their own conscience and beliefs.
The whole issue is used just like the racism issue is used today - Dems/Libs attempting to intimidate, divide people against one another, increase hate and contention, and increase immorality in order to increase their own power and wealth.

Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't other states banning this type of therapy in younger children where their parents are MAKING them go to through this therapy against their will.
I completely agree that an adult should have the right to go to whatever therapy they choose but parents forcing their child to go away to these types of programs is so wrong and hurtful. I know my parents would have forced me to do this if I had come out earlier in life. Thank God I waiting until I was self-sustaining to come out or who knows where I would be today. I have no doubt it would have caused me possible irreversible damage.
I think that is what most states are trying to ban. Right?

The goal is to outlaw all reparative therapy.

Just like the heterosexual lifestyle, it depends on how you go about it.
Monogamous homosexual relationships certainly arent unhealthy.

If there were a large contingency of Americans, on the order of tens of millions, who claimed heterosexuality was deviant and set up counseling/camps across the country intent on "curing" heterosexuality...how do you think the conservative heterosexuals in this country would react?
Its easy for you to say because you dont have people constantly demonizing an inherent aspect of your biology. How demeaning must it be to not only be told what a sick person you are for loving someone of the same sex, but to have condescending pricks trying to "cure" you?

The problem is you want homosexuals to have unlimited tolerance. You want people to be able to mock them, call them deviants, try and fix them, say they are going to hell...and expect them to just sit there and take it all in the name of tolerance. You want them to be punching bags, while all the while getting offended by every little thing they do to resist.
