I'm watching youtubetv so I'm getting the local TX ads.
The Talrico ads are insane.
Does this guy actually have a chance?
I thought Paxton was considered popular in Texas as AG?

Talarico is legitimately insane. No exaggeration. He is nuts. He rivals the East & West Coasts nutcases that you see out there.
Paxton is HATED by the Bush/Rove/RINO contingent here in the state because he is MAGA. He is an a-hole, a cheating spouse, & has no personality. We know how Paxton will vote in the Senate so I am voting for the a-hole. Pray the a-hole wins.

Twinkrico is a little bitch saying Paxton is using AI ads to make him say stupid stuff. No bitch you said all that.

If you believe that very many Texans are that ignorant and stupid, yeah I guess he’s got a legit shot.
I don’t happen to perceive Texas in that way.

To quote Dennis Quaid regarding PDJT and paraphrasing, "he may be an a-hole, but he is our a-hole."

He may be a fool, but he's our fool
If they think they're better than him, they're wrong

You’re absolutely correct. Hence “too big to rig.” That’s actually a very relevant and consequential expression. It’s both hyperbole and real, and was demonstrated when done correctly by the last Presidential election. If Republicans swallow their pride in many cases and get out and vote en masse, they win every time where it matters most.
When they act all uppity and self-righteous like they did in the cases of Herschel Walker and Dr Oz…..not so much.

I had to vote for MTG in three general elections after voting for someone else in each of her primaries and a runoff.

I saw it too. Someone must have figured out that it is cheaper to buy network commercial time instead of having to buy spots in all 20 of Texas’s media markets. It also saves on the paperwork disclosures on multiple TV stations or cable systems. Also in those forms which are publicly available detail spot cost and when they air. Not sure if the network has a public political file online like the TV stations have to maintain on the FCC database.
Looking online, the network commercial time doesn’t have the same rules as it was purchased with the broadcast network. The only ones that have to maintain the public file are:
quote:
Broadcast stations, cable system operators, DBS providers, and SDARS licensees are required to maintain public inspection files, of which political files are a part.
Now nets do own local stations, but in my opinion, the only requirement to have the ad buy in the public file would be if it was purchased with the station directly.
So buying network time saves on the paperwork and the other disclosures that come with the ad buy.
Maybe the FCC should extend the public file requirement to broadcast nets and cable networks.

Longhorn fans ARE Talricos biggest voting block
It makes sense that he went all in on ads during that game

I disdain this aspect of his character but it’s funny how Democrats have made this their rallying cry, they absolutely love the democratic candidates that are whores and adulterers but Paxton should be roasted alive for it

It was the Red River Shootout from 1990 to 2004. Most of us still refer to it is as such. The name was changed because liberal figs from Austin, like Talafrico, got the sads claiming it promoted "gun violence."
No Sooner fan would ever call it the RRR.
