A few weeks ago I was at a light and I get a big whiff of weed in my car. I look over, and big white smoke coming out of the car next to me.

This is a regular occurrence for me, on I-10 doing 50mph+, in the morning.. At least if they were vaping Delta 9 I probably wouldn't smell it, in my car. With rolled up windows.

I don't use it, but it's so far down on my list of things to give a shite about, it should be priority number 231,385 for the legislature, let alone the governor.

The law and order types don't understand that these kinds of laws are just pretexts to jam people up for other offenses. These aren't laws that actually want to reduce the use or sale of the substance they purportedly target.

This is why things happen under the radar. Apparently this all came about from a loophole abuse big weed attorneys found in a 2019 law.

We need leaders that are proactive not duped so have to be reactionary.

Alcohol and caffeine are drugs you’ve just been conditioned to accept those. The FDA peddles drugs you’ve been conditioned to accept those

Nope. No form of THC is legal in Texas under any circumstances.

They literally sell THC infused drinks at Total wine and in convenience stores.

Sorry. We’ve been in Omaha the past few days and missed this:

quote:

Gov. Greg Abbott on Sunday vetoed a contentious state ban on THC products and shortly after called a special legislative session asking lawmakers to instead strictly regulate the substance. The late-night action just minutes before the veto deadline keeps the Texas hemp industry alive for now, while spiking a top priority of Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick. Senate Bill 3 would have banned consumable hemp products that contained any THC, including delta-8 and delta-9.

This sounds like criminal justice reform bs

People just gotta have THC in their chips, soda, shite I saw THC infused beer when I was briefly in Atlanta a couple weeks ago.

FuXking fools. There ain’t shite wrong with a little thc. It don’t cost as much as alcohol and u don’t get a hangover. It’s the alcohol industry pushing to ban this stuff. People are buying the thc instead of alcohol. It’s not 1980 anymore, stuff now is way more potent and widely accepted. We’d be proud to offer u and your kin folks to come on up out the backwoods now, ya here

i assume when you say a "bottle" you mean a 1/5th then you're not much of a drinking man a half a 1/5th is three stiff drinks to be hung over half a day on three stiff drinks you raise a horse to hold a saddle, you raise a man to hold his liquor.

the amount of THC in pot today is in no way comparable to alcohol it's not even close. one 30% gummie and you're stoned out of your gourd unless you're a wake and bake loser and you eventually build up a tolerance.

The senate essentially passed almost the same bill in the first special session that was vetoed by Abbott. Dan Patrick is a retard. I wish Abbott would publicly shame him for this waste of time and resources he’s put toward this.

You just contradicted yourself. Half a bottle of whiskey for him was the same as a 30% joint for you if you're a non smoker.

If you don't get drunk off a half a fifth of whiskey you may have a drinking problem as your tolerance is through the roof.

Same can be said for pot, someone that uses pot a lot has a higher tolerance and thus can function fine off what may put you under for 6 hours.

Alcohol is far worse on society and it's not close. Simply look at weed overdoses vs alcohol and weed related deaths vs alcohol related deaths and the numbers aren't even in the same conversation.
