All Trump had to do was endorse the Texas GOP candidate who wasn't famously crooked all over Texas, and it would've gone like every other Texas U.S. Senate general election.

But Trump couldn't, because Corwyn only voted with him 99.3 percent of the time instead of 100 percent of the time, and Trump values payback more than he does practicallity.

All that matters now for either party is that the percentage is 100%.

James Talarico lies, lies, lies. He just aired a commercial where he said he voted with Republicans for property tax reform, yet....

How they voted - Texas Property Tax Reform Bill SB2

bad … candidates

It’s weird how there is now this bizarre subset of Republicans who seem to get off on letting themselves be gaslit.

Bad candidate? Paxton is the state AG. Some of you posters are just ignorant and dramatic.

You do understand that attorney general and Senate are two completely differently focused campaigns
What makes you a good AG doesn't necessarily make you a good Senate candidate.

And not just because in he had all the money behind him in AG races, d's couldn't run a campaign on the hopes and dreams of demTexas especially with a vindictive AG ready to make life difficult using the State offices of the AG

He's a corrupt frick

As an AG candidate he never had to go out in public because the Democrats had no chance none at all

He's a shite candidate campaigner

Even Trump couldn't get the guy to debate. That tidbit will be his first Truth Social post after Paxton loses.

Of all the states to criticize bad candidates. Louisiana is not one of them.
