Test of steel prototype for border wall showed it could be sawed through

Just proves again, this "wall" is a waste of time and money.

President Donald Trump has repeatedly advocated for a steel slat design for his border wall, which he described as "absolutely critical to border security" in his Oval Office address to the nation Tuesday. But Department of Homeland Security testing of a steel slat prototype proved it could be cut through with a saw, according to a report by DHS.
A photo exclusively obtained by NBC News shows the results of the test after military and Border Patrol experts were instructed to attempt to destroy the barriers with common tools.
The Trump administration directed the construction of eight steel and concrete prototype walls that were built in Otay Mesa, California, just across the border from Tijuana, Mexico. Trump inspected the prototypes in March 2018. He has now settled on a steel slat, or steel bollard, design for the proposed border barrier additions. Steel bollard fencing has been used under previous administrations.
However, testing by DHS in late 2017 showed all eight prototypes, including the steel slats, were vulnerable to breaching, according to an internal February 2018 U.S. Customs and Border Protection report.
Just proves again, this "wall" is a waste of time and money.

We should make the Mexico side like a sticky trap so they all just get latched onto the wall and can’t get off.

Your point is taken into consideration cuck

Agreed. A wall will probably just fall down anyway. Look at what happened to the one in China

A saw is a deterrent.
No wall. No saw needed.
Wall. Saw needed.
Surprised you didn't know that.

Even Helm's Deep had a weakness.

no one is claiming that it is perfect
it is one key part of a bigger systematic approach

With what type of saw and in how much time? This is dumb without context.
I can saw through the front door of your house, but someone would probably notice while I was doing it...

LMAO, proves you don't read too well...
"The steel bollard design is internally reinforced with materials that require time and multiple industrial tools to breach, thereby providing U.S. Border Patrol agents additional response time to affect a successful law enforcement resolution. In the event that one of the steel bollards becomes damaged, it is quick and cost-effective to repair.
Industrial tools does not equal common tools...

Great analogy!
and safes can be cracked
I guess that means that banks should just leave money outside their front doors in bags for anyone that wants to come pick it up

Aren't these the same people who put explosive devices in GM pick-up trucks to prove they're an explosion risk? I thought so...

I've said "reciprocating saw with a Diablo metal blade".

It is umimpossible to protect border!

But if expert's say there is a better way to prevent illegal border crossings like technology and more CBP officers, why can't we just agree to that and be done?

you conveniently left this part out
so the prototype they were able to cut through is not the same wall that's being built
quote:
"While the design currently being constructed was informed by what we learned in the prototypes, it does not replicate those designs," said Waldman. "The steel bollard design is internally reinforced with materials that require time and multiple industrial tools to breach,
