Abortion can’t be illegal. There are far too many exceptions and complications. Louis CK’s point was salient.

What’s a smaller government than governing your own body?

You missed my point entirely. Your joke was meant to highlight some kind of hypocritical difference in stand-your-ground laws and abortion. They are abunduntaly different scenarios.

If you believe that property includes your body, you can do whatever you like with it.

If you don’t, there’s just something wrong with you.

Yeah, I'm not all that interested in the abortion debate but that was a laughable analogy.

Does this include labor and the fruits thereof?

From a libertarian perspective, yes.

I disagree. It used to be that even abortion supporters thought it a sensitive, tough subject that should still be legal on other grounds. This is the first real era when you see people openly celebrate and/or glorify the practice

No. I think many struggle with that. And potential future welfare recipients. But it’s for God to decide. But i get what you are saying

Jesus that's a stupid joke. If he had been aborted then you wouldnt know of his existence because he would have never existed. If he was aborted now that would be called Murder

A joke about any subject can be funny if you're not uptight and understand the concept of a joke. There are some good jokes about dead babies, rape, abortion, pedophilia, racism, incest, and many other taboo subjects, and that doesn't mean someone supports those actions by making or laughing at a joke. I can understand someone being sensitive if they have experienced the subject of the joke, but it doesn't make someone bad for enjoying a tasteless joke.

With that said, it is obvious they are using it to push a political agenda and not just for humor's sake. This is where people taking responsibility for being a parent comes in. Parents today seem to be less involved with instilling their values and just let the schools, media, and pop culture raise their kids.

Sorry...I meant wouldn't. Difference between Trump and I? I didn't follow it up saying that I trust my intelligence Community but Putin was very strong and powerful and his denial... guess he really didn't mean wouldn't after all

I’ve been thinking of having children lately, pondering the aspects and realities.

I think I would enjoy being a father and I think I would be a good father.

The reality is, though...and this saddens me to acknowledge it...I just don’t want my children to grow up in this world that we live in today.

People say this every generation...yet here we are.

If you’re as good of a father as you believe you’ll be, any kids you have will be just fine...this world notwithstanding.
