they were dumb mother fricking stupid idgets that showed on J6 with a hand made gallow & noose in their truck bed they dragged down to literally zip tie arrest Pence & Pelosi and hang them.

then there were some that stole Nance's lectern whoopie flip.

but there were some violent loons there that were fed disinformation because Trump was. they built online theories of BS that Pence had by midnight blah blah blah time to write to the State Electors. Lin Wood, even Flynn fed that crap. at the time if you tried to warn them they called you the bad guy as they were brainwashed they were chosen.

there were posters here for days posting bleeding the tree of liberty on J6. like the dumbassed keyboard warrior purebloods they think they are today.

the media were in on it as they posted articles saying Pence was on the same page.

it was a complete set-up arranged online and with FBI provocateurs/informants feeding the scene.

it was violent and stupid as hell, of this there is no doubt.

the amount of warm bodies there that were plain ignorant rednecks that are chan posters on LSD and crazy: versus FBI agents, does not compute an insurrection.

i think calling J6 a terrorist attack is way past any reasonable smell test.

there was a real terror attack and bombing of the capitol by one of Obama's BFFs. No one carried on like they are now. No one made an anniversary of it or declare the anniversary.

quote:

After Bill Ayers bombed the U.S. Capitol building, Ayers hosted a fundraiser for Barack Obama in Ayers’s living room. Ayers also got hired as a college professor.

Why isn't there an anniversary of this bombing to remind everyone that a President started his career in his home?

quote:

After the Greenwich Village townhouse explosion in 1970, in which Weatherman member Ted Gold, Ayers's close friend Terry Robbins, and Ayers's girlfriend, Diana Oughton, were killed when a nail bomb being assembled in the house exploded, Ayers and several associates evaded pursuit by law enforcement officials. Kathy Boudin and Cathy Wilkerson survived the blast. Ayers was not facing criminal charges at the time, but the federal government later filed charges against him.[7]

Ayers participated in the bombings of New York City Police Department headquarters in 1970, the United States Capitol building in 1971, and the Pentagon in 1972, as he noted in his 2001 book, Fugitive Days. Ayers writes:

Although the bomb that rocked the Pentagon was itsy-bitsy—weighing close to two pounds—it caused 'tens of thousands of dollars' of damage. The operation cost under $500, and no one was killed or even hurt.[19]

After the bombing, Ayers became a fugitive. During this time, Ayers and fellow member Bernardine Dohrn married and remained fugitives together, changing identities, jobs and locations.

To a post that was on point, I gave a reply that was on point.

and would rather spend a couple of paragraphs dodging the question, instead of giving a simple answer.

Because it's not on point and makes this conversation inefficient and potentially leading into areas that aren't relevant.

The media molds perception of events for a lot of simple minded people.

This thread is about the perception posters on here have of Jan 6. Are you saying they've been warped by the media?

If not, how is that relevant?

quote:

Why does the media, out of the dozens and dozens of BLM riots in cities all across the country over the years, refuse to call a spade a spade, when it comes to actual riots,

Who is doing that in this thread?

I said they were riots and I condemn them.

January 6 devolved into riots and I condemn them as well.

I don't need the media (either the major-partisan media or the online-black holes) to tell me what to think. This isn't difficult.

Yeah. They were just burning down buildings, carving at a big chunk of Seattle to call their own, and murdering innocent people.

No big deal, compared to Jan 6th.

Do you think everyone who protested at the Capitol last year was violent?

Nope. Never said that.

Not everyone at BLM protests was violent, either.

If not, what do you think should happen to those who entered the building and didn't riot?

There are misdemeanor charges for trespassing in the capitol they can be prosecuted with, although I don't think most (who never violently interacted with LEO or did anything nefarious within the capitol) have even been prosecuted.

Long thread. Didn't read. But watched the video. Ted's comments were appropriate. The focus was NOT condemning the demonstrators. It was lauding the capital security people.
It was not the time nor place to rant. When you go to a funeral service for your ugly, stupid, fat aunt who died of diabetes you don't tell the gathered what you really thought about her.

I do remember a lot of posters talking about how they said “goodbye” to their families and how they gave the “Daddy might not make it home” talk to their kids. That shite was hilarious.

Nothing better than overweight 40 year olds in tactical vests and helmets playing patriot hero.

There were definitely grannies who didn't do anything. There were also goons outside who seem to have gotten violent. Were they all FBI plants or Antifa? I have no way of knowing. I want to see the handful of agitators covered in the Revolver article held to account. But, there were definitely real Trump supporters who got caught up in the moment and acted a fool. I wish it didn't happen and I hope no one is locked up just for trespassing. I understand that if they were BLM, they would have been let go with a slap on the wrist. But, we're not playing on an even playing field. This is why I said Trump should have been smarter than to summon people to D.C. I don't think he created a riot, but he did create the conditions for his supporters to be set up.

How did police treat BLM riots in 2020? They pulled back and allowed protestors to do whatever they wanted and the result was looting, businesses burned, people attacked, and people killed.

On January 6th, how much violence was there when police pulled back and allowed people in the building? How many people were harmed, how much property was destroyed, what was burned?

People that attacked officers should go to jail, people that broke anything or stole anything should go to jail but pretending January 6th was a terrorist attack or insurrection is completely absurd. And there is an enormous difference between the way both groups have been treated by the justice system afterward.

there was all kinds of craziness. Two I posted to said they were locked and loaded and yeah kissin the fam bye. I responded that there were gun laws in DC don't be stupid.'

(I remember this so clearly only because one of my kids was driving through DC unrelated to J6) Miles of vehicles were randomly blocked. They searched all vehicles, opened trunks, glove box's, had sniffing dogs.

So after I warned them of this
quote:

The District of Columbia does not have any reciprocity agreements with other states and currently will not honor any other states concealed carry license.

they told me I knew nothing about the tree of liberty-it must bleed blah blah blah, and I wasn't a patriot.

If they were FBI plants you couldn't tell them from the other enlightened crew; and it was fricked up they were protected to be enlightened arrogant assholes.

I even posted that it was probably a set up and Pence does not have that power and I was called a twat.

They should be thanking TD for nuking that election thread and the poli board crap. But they act like babies about it and call it the best thread in the whole world.

Buncha twats.

A 'coup' staged by a segment of the population with the highest rates of gun ownership, no less.

Worst.

Insurrection.

Totally real. I wish I bookmarked the threads. A lot of the posts I saw might have been the Q thread so I guess that would fit the type of person that would say that.
