Why would it take him 5-10 years? Why won't he be the prime candidate to beat in 2028?

I'm just assuming he will fulfill most of his first Fox News contract. Plus all that time behind the camera would be really beneficial to his national public persona.

However, when I bring up that I believe that Trump will go scorched Earth in term two, the TDS clown car shows up to poo poo this possibility. History has shown that is more probable imho.

Because the only people Trump goes scorched earth against is other Republicans.

hat's why he will pick some milquetoast person like Tim Scott.

He wants to pick Ben Carson. But he probably picks Tim Scott because Scott brings in A LOT of money.

its because Tim Scott is completely boring, will never outshine him in any way, and fills the identity politic slot.

Yet, after the frick job by the McCain, Romney and Ryan in round one, perhaps he doesn’t like people stabbing him in the back.

Right, because trust is a bizarre thing to desire.

He publicly supported his opposition (well, he would have been his opposition, but he actually hadn’t declared at that point).

You are a fool to not see that as a justification to support his opposition, especially if he is supposedly conservative (I’m still waiting for the links to support your claims).

Right.

His whole life history not withstanding.

Again, your TDS won’t allow you to follow a logical supposition.

Maybe not.

But until he does pick a VP, then Ron is a possibility.

Unlike you, however, I will support whomever he picks.

Biden has to go.

I called your sorry arse out.

Here it is again. You are a TDS laden loon that wishes death on your fellow Americans for supporting Trump.

100% you are voting for Biden.

You don’t have a clue what you’re talking about. You’re projecting.

I’ll vote for Trump. I’ll hate myself for it but I will.

But he ceased being my guy with just how loathsome he acted this past 18 months.

Trump put the olive branch out there. It was a big announcement. He retired "DeSanctimonious".

In this thread they celebrate a conservative losing.

This thread started because a bot was crying about him losing and Trump endorsing his challenger, who is also conservative. No one was celebrating a conservative losing. Dafuq are you talking about? It's politics. The dude didn't make the wisest choice on endorsements, and who knows what else he might have said or done behind the scenes we don't even know about, and Trump endorsed the other conservative guy. Get over it. You guys are such whiney bitches sometimes. JFC.

Correct

Conservatives need to study the TPUSA/MAGA controlled Arizona GOP and learn how to win like them

The good news is McCarthy is probably pretty close to blowing his campaign war chest and this this the only race he would consider a win and he won because he rode Trump's coattails. He got destroyed in other primary races against the congressmen that vacated him.

Hopefully the new GOP leadership spend money on winning instead of sabotaging like McCarthy and McConnell have a track record of doing.
