especially during a mob attack on the Capitol
The attack on the White House in June was a mob attack that resulted in the burning churches and other attempts to deface DC monuments.
January 6 was a 'mostly peaceful protest' with a couple minor vandals, pranksters, idiots and leftist agitators.
How many mob attacks are you aware of that included open invites by LEOs and/or armed LE escorts to the 'point of no retreat'?
Somehow, they showed extreme restraint during the Kavanaugh hearings with those hideous banshees bleeding their monthly expressions of free speech all over the SJC.

You’d think you’d want the commission to investigate and establish this if you really thought it was true.

Your civics teacher didn’t teach you a lot of things it seems.

Boosie would have led the marches for Ashli if she had been a BLM protestor.

just because her politics matched yours has been one of the highlights of Poli Board hypocrisy
She had no fentanyl in her system, passed no counterfeit bills and had kicked zero pregnant women in the stomach so obviously not a protected class worthy of martyr status or even an investigation.

So now we are comparing a locked down secretive military complex to a public building that hosts dozens of tour groups on a daily basis?
Still s t r e t c h i n g arent you?
The White House does tours too….

I’m not the one afraid of an unarmed 40 year old woman.

In those situations, the law doesn’t care about hindsight. Reasonable expectation of imminent danger. You have a mob trying to break down your door, you are well within your rights to shoot someone coming halfway through the broken window.

One that is predetermined by the same asshats that gave us years of investigations into a collusion scheme of their own (I guess your) party's design? One that equates Jan. 6th to 9/11? Just one more dog-and-pony show to get soundbites for dims in a year and a half?
That's not a serious response.

Imagine the reaction of the folks in this thread who are defending the murder of Ashley Babbitt if the same thing happened to one of these women:

He also taught me that people who continuously have have the last word are prone to insecurities. Wait, that might have been my Linguistics prof.

Reg, noted cop critic, finally finds a cop shooting he likes.

This is correct. All the other cops, including ones she'd already passed, didn't think they were in imminent danger. In a normal case that would play a big part, but we all know the DOJ isn't going to look at this like a normal case. There was never a chance of that.
Both parties involved can be wrong here, but that would require nuance.

Here’s a lawyer lying like lawyers lie.
Expectation of imminent danger isn’t a justification for deadly force.

There was no imminent danger. They had the door blocked. He fired at her through the window. The law doesn’t provide a safe harbor because you are a giant gash afraid of your shadow.
