Can you believe that Sleepy and the Slut have the keys to launch nuclear weapons? Now, that is scary!

And we thought that BLM and Antifa were dangerous!

This was a good topic yesterday as well. I don’t really fear it from China or Russia. Now Iran and North Korea yes.

The theory with a nuclear war with China and Russia is that we would have a limited volley mainly just hitting military bases but common sense tells us it would be an all out exchange. “Use em or lose em” so pretty much oil refineries, state capitals, industrial centers and major airports would be the next targets. Cities would be the third tier targets after the exchange goes all out.

So now we are bringing back the cold War.

Seems like we are revisting all of the past fear tactics.

Considering I don’t trust xiden and camela to run a neighborhood lemonade stand, the fact they control the fate of the country is disturbing

That’s good that you have that. Problem will be water. Also factor in how close you are to prime and secondary targets.

We may be missing the point here. Do we want sleepy and/or the slut making a decision at 2 o'clock in the morning to launch on warning.

Years ago, and I do mean years ago, the president could launch on warning without any agreement from anyone else if there was high confidence that the warning was valid.

In the lead up to the election I was frustrated the Republicans never made that an issue.

I’m not so sure this time... if you listen to the “elites,” the ultra rich and world leaders, many say the earth is over populated which is unsustainable.

Global warming this... pandemic that...

Why not position a WWIII to reduce the earths population by a third? Those who remain will be in servitude to the elites.

Nothing is beyond these sick and twisted people.

If there's anyone who can get us into a nuclear war, it's Biden and his gaggle of shitheads.

Clinton, Obama and Biden’s policies have done nothing but to provoke Russia. After the breakup of the Warsaw Pact and the Soviet Union, democrat presidents have been zealous about NATO expansion and setting up military bases there. They get all mad when Russia protests but how can you blame Putin for making counter threats? Just imagine if the plains states, Texas, Louisiana and Arkansas ceded from the Union. How would Biden feel if the Chinese set up naval bases in Galveston and New Orleans and the Russians were building air bases in the Dakotas and training troops in Kansas and Oklahoma? But someone like the soon to be president Harris will poke the bear too much....

After years of hearing that Trump was crazy enough to start a nuclear war, it would be poetic justice to the liberals living in huge cities across America if we get involved in a nuclear war under Biden.

This policy was formalized under Bush I by Paul Wolfowitz, called the Wolfowitz Doctrine and later renamed the Bush Doctrine under Bush II. Blaming only Democratic presidents is not accurate in terms of what occurred, as all presidents, even Trump when he escalated the sanctions regime against Russia, have pursued the aims of this doctrine.

The doctrine itself is essentially an offensive realist manifesto, with offensive realism being a term in international relations that says since states cannot be sure of the actions of other states, and because state security is the prime directive, you must do everything you can to minimize threats. Every action the US and the West has done with regards to Russia, under both Democratic and Republican administrations, has been to move the Russian red line further and further away from Eastern Europe, isolate them from their sphere of influence and leave it up to the Russians to stop them. Russia has been unable to stop the advance, and thus, the West keeps pushing forward.

In the secession scenario you offered, the US, if the military retains even 50% of its power, would have to invade. The rules of realism dictate the response. That Russia, in a similar position, cannot afford to do the same is due to the relative strength of the US, as well as the massive financial costs a direct invasion would incur.

Unfortunately the world is anarchic, and despite protestations about the liberal world order, there is still no liberalism in the international relations sense. States have to maximize their own security, and those states who cannot, like Russia, are at the behest of states who can, like the US. That's the truth of things, and no one can get past their partisanship, it seems, to see that the US is pursuing the same geopolitical goals regardless of administration. If we want it to stop, that requires reorientation of US geopolitics, but that won't happen, because the wings of US politics that criticize these goals the most, the US far left and now members of the US right, absolutely cannot work together for even short-term goals that would be mutually beneficial.

Or a deliberate attempt to prepare us for their future plans.

No one is talking about nuclear war as if it's a viable option right now. Anyone official bringing it up is laying groundwork.
