Biden represents a thoroughly out-of-touch and corrupt political class who have overseen the fleecing of the American taxpayer the last half century. Say what you want about Trump, but that man was more in-tune with the angst of working class Americans in flyover country than any President we've had in a long time. Our political class is so far removed from the concerns of their constituents that a celebrity NYC billionaire is more relatable to over 75 million voters than any establishment candidate.

I know you're getting skewered for this, but one of the only fair journalists on this planet (Greenwald) has basically been saying what you are -- Trump and Biden were the only two people standing up to finish what nobody else would and the military industrial complex, intel agencies, and media assets are having a fit over it. And, that the withdrawal was going to be a mess no matter what. All of that said, Biden should not have lied last month about how great everything was and should have been getting people out months ago. But, his ego would not let that happen or something.

As I've been saying for a while on here, you really have to separate the macro and micro issues.
On the macro level, it was always going to be a shite show and the Taliban were going to take over.
On the micro level, it didn't have to be this much of a shite show getting people out of Afghanistan
