The amount of agreement with that ridiculous tweet is even more horrifying than the idea behind the tweet itself.

Lost in this is another international relations disaster:
We shut down Bagram, so we now have to rely on the Kabul airport. We have essentially taken over the airport and have prioritized our flights (I guess we kind of have to), but looks incredibly bad internationally. Our decisions effectively leave Afghan nationals attempting to escape the country stranded.
The pic Bobby posted just a bit ago shows some of those stranded people.
This in an international relations disaster on so many levels.

Afghanis are absolute cowards. So many Americans died trying to help that shithole and they give it up with barely a fight. Let the Taliban have it now, isn’t that how the history of the world works? The strong conquers the weak? The Middle East is such a shithole.

It will be much, much more complicated if/when "you send guys back in there". china is already planning and orchestrating their entry into the region. They will not be there to nation build, they will be there to invest and essentially nationalize whatever they want.
