The UK just came out and told any of their people still there not to even try to come to the airport.

The mood on the streets is definitely changing. I got a few groceries and gas and there was a group of people outside the gas station and talking about the mess that the potato has got us jammed up over and they were hopping mad as I am. I have not seen that ever before.

At lunch today the table beside me said they would have voted for Trump if they realized what kind of a shite show this would be.

I totally agree with a banner above saying blame this on Biden and crew.

You can be sure there will be quite a few of those vids posted on the 20 year anniversary of 9/11. Those bastards can't help but rub our noses in it.

I haven't posted or seen posted the report of a group of German journalists who flew into Kabul, were halted by US troops, detained, and eventually put back on a plane out of the airport.

That's not a good look.

This suggests that the UK has intelligence (most likely SIGINT) of impending attack against Kabul airport. A truly awful prospect which hopefully will not materialise.

I asked President Biden what he will do if Americans are still in Afghanistan after the 8/31 deadline.
His response: “You’ll be the first person I call.”
Took no questions.

That is fricking disgusting

All-out propaganda campaign from every info outlet to trumpet this message: Never forget Trump abandoned A-ghan.

All images of horror are Trump's fault.

I haven't really seen this, particularly internationally.

The fact you see journalists asking, or at least attempting to, the hard questions of this administration, you haven't seen them shift to fully running cover for them.

ETA: The issue earlier today with the German journalists and the US troops will also rally some support from US press.

I would be too embarrassed to admit it if I voted for the demoncrats considering what Biden has done. He basically fricked over everyone in this country.

And the Twatter and fakebook crowds have their heads up their arses.

Australia seems to have followed suit with the UK. They, too, have told their people not to attempt to make it to the airport.

This very well could be directly related to a legitimate terrorist threat to the airport.

It is really sounding and looking more and more like the only people coming into that airport now are via helicopter.

Is there a better estimate out there? I’m surprised it’s that many

I would’ve interrupted their lunch and told them they will have blood on their own hands in the coming days.

That goes for anyone else that knowingly and willingly voted for this colossal clusterfrick.

Their numbers have been all over the place. They've done everything they can not to be pinned down to any specific numbers.

I can tell you that the Brits said they had somewhere around 4,000 left in the country this morning. Being that the US had considerably more people in country to start with than the Brits had, I'm not confident at all that even the State Department believe the numbers they are putting out.

No you're not.

You're hoping those inconvenient citizens stranded just go away.

The Brits didn't just tell their people to avoid the airport, they told them that their best option may be to try to get the the Afghan border.
