It appears Blackwater is raking it in until the bitter end in Afghanistan. The WSJ reported they are charging up to $6,500 a seat for their flights out of the airport.

I am sure the Taliban are going around to countries asking for money or other things to maintain a presence in the country. Maybe even asking for tributes and payoffs.

China has already added them to the BRI. Plus they’ve got all this fancy high end US equipment that they have no idea how to run, and the CCP will pay them handsomely for those simply to reverse engineer them. They’re taken care of.

This is going to turn into a major issue. What are you going to do with them once they are vetted properly? Returning them to Afghanistan may be problematic.

Well, Pen Farthing and his animal rescue shelter will be evacuated, after all. Whether we see a large number of people abandoned and killed going forward or not, that will most certainly be a movie. That shite sells and people will eat it up. I couldn't even guess how many people wouldn't be following this shitshow if not for that damn shelter.
Let me say, I'm not opposed to getting them out. I just don't believe it should take precedence over the human element that is at risk.

At least they are getting people out. Worth every penny as opposed to being completely abandoned and left behind by your own country. Nothing a go fund me couldn’t cover in a day or two if someone couldn’t afford it.

We’ve actually evacuated our dogs, which has, rightly so I might add, really pissed off Afghans. Muslims hate dogs which is why they use it as a constant insult while someone like Randy Jackson uses it as a compliment every third sentence. So they perceived it as we valued our dogs more than them, and sadly that’s likely true.
