EDIT: Keep in mind and this is an even more horrific thought, the remaining 1,000 could be other nationalities. It’s not likely but feasible there isn’t a single American among that thousand.

Honestly it shocked me that 4,000 Americans worked for the Afghan Embassy. I didn’t think there were even that many people working in the Chinese Embassy, and that thing is militarized as all frick.
