That baby that was lifted over the wall was a sick baby. They took it to a Norwegian Hospital that is located at the airport.

The baby was reunited with the father. Kirby didn't know if the baby was reunited with the father in or outside the Airport.

It’s not a place you go visit on vacation.

Maybe not vacation, but you may go there to visit family like this mother and daughter who managed to get out this week:

quote:

alma Kazemi, 24, and her mother, who are from Colorado Springs, were able to evacuate Afghanistan and made it safely to Qatar, a family spokesperson told Fox News on Friday morning. Kazemi and her mother traveled earlier this month to visit family in Afghanistan but became stranded after the Taliban began regaining control, according to Colorado-based news station KRDO.

This also gives a clue as to how many Americans may be there:
quote:

Lamborn’s office said he and the staff are currently trying to help over 50 other Americans from Colorado get out of Afghanistan.

That is one representative fielding requests from 50+ Americans.

Griffin: Confirms planes filling up w "refugees" not Americans or vetted SIVs, 3rd countries will not let them land. "This is an alternate reality presented by this White House."

I saw that a few days ago when UK sent 2 paras. I don't know if there is still friction between the two.

Well that, but still I’d say we should know basically everyone who travels to say Afghanistan, North Korea, Syria, Liberia, Libya, Venezuela, Iran, Somalia, and Yemen. Just a thought.

Yeah, it expounded a little on the original reporting.

ABC is calling Biden's bullshite:

@ABC
quote:

.@DavidMuir: "The president said he has no intelligence that the Americans have not been able to get [to the Kabul airport]. The question, obviously—does that square with reporting on ground?"

@IanPannell: "I mean—just totally not."

FoxNews just reported we were giving air support to the French/Brits/Germans when they would go out and grab people.

But we can't ?

What I think is going on is we are running SpecOps to get high level folks out and not saying anything.

President Biden told key allies in June that he would maintain enough of a security presence in Afghanistan to ensure they could continue to operate in the capital following the main U.S. withdrawal, according to a British diplomatic memo seen by Bloomberg

By the way, I need to apologize: the people aren’t Afghani they’re Afghan. Their money is called Afghani. Correction since I’ve been doing that a ton this week.

Or, we are relying on security contractors who have no military affiliation to do it.

As a matter of fact, I know that is going on to some extent. I have seen security outfits/firms communicating with people via Twitter. That was a couple days ago, and I can't remember if I posted it here or not.

Nope, in 2022 they will right back to pushing fringe wedge issues to mobilize their base.

@ABC
quote:

"It just seems the reality and the rhetoric are miles apart," @IanPannell tells @DavidMuir.

"I'm not quite sure what advice the president is receiving. But the truth on the ground is that these people who are in fear of their lives can't get through." LINK

A reporter actually called it "rhetoric". Ouch.
