Also, I remember reading on here a month ago that the US was telling all American citizens to get out. Weeks before the Taliban even began to take over the country. People act like all of this happened over night. It absolutely didn’t. There was an 18 month get out plan, with the original agreement and deadline being May 1.
I’m not having this bullshite. Biden said it was safe and for Americans to stay put since this wasn’t going to be like Saigon. No it’s worse. He would have rather risked Americans dying than to look bad with Americans and allies fleeing, and now he’s getting both. It’s the worst decision a President has ever made, and we’ve had some doozies.

This is an age where everything is public and on social media. Are there thousands of Americans there “trapped “ that can’t get out?

We could if the State Department was able to provide the numbers. They’ve admitted they have no idea how many Americans are there.

Why would the Biden admin tell us there are thousands of Americans stuck there if there weren’t? They are getting hammered for it but they are sticking to it… for what reason? You find it hard to believe bc it’s asinine. Doesn’t mean it’s not true, unfortunately.

Those guys at that airport are probably chomping at the bit to go. This guy is an entirely different species than the soldiers at that airport. He doesn’t have the capacity to understand what they are made of and what they would do and how far they would go for their fellow Americans.

They could probably give better numbers if they hadn’t destroyed all the data at the embassy before sending back to DC.

Is this al Qaeda? Just wondering how we know they are al Qaeda, although I do remember “foreign fighters” being used to describe them before.
There are multiple groups losely affiliated with the Taliban, and most are foreigners. The Haqanni group is one. These groups of foreigners have had an established history of supporting and/or working directly with Al Qaeda.

Seems to me the US is indeed buying fuel from the Taliban

He said it would “absolutely not” be overrun by the Taliban.

Name a worse decision? China is now fortifying barges and doing military drills in Taiwanese waters. Taiwan will fall for this, which would possibly start World War III (not with this pussy administration though).

Also, just as an aside, there was a post here a few days ago, long since buried so it would take way too long to find, that said “the leader of the Taliban was let out of Gitmo by Obama!” when in fact in he was let out in 2018.., the post had like 100 plus upvotes and zero downvotes. I’m not commenting on whether the guy should have been let out or not, but just goes to show there is a one track mind/line of thinking here.

That is what the people running this shitshow have said. The State Department, the Pentagon, the White House, and other nation's leaders. That's all I can tell you, baw.

Your list was terrible. No, the War in Iraq, while terrible, is nowhere near as bad as this.

Fear not they did open up a domestic and international telephone hotline and email address yesterday asking people to call in if they are missing someone or if they are in Afghanistan to call them so I'm sure they will have an exact number soon.
