It will be interesting to see if they’ve learned anything from this or if the narrative will start to shift if/when their own people are out of harms way. I suspect they’ll be back to the same untrustworthy media as soon as possible.

Did anyone see the Cornpop reference by the veteran at the end of Martha McCallum's show? Paraphrasing here, he said "one more thing..." 'fighting the Taliban to get everyone out was going to be more difficult than Cornpop'. It didn't register with Martha. She said 'I don't know what that's supposed to mean' with a clueless look on her face.
