Anything the agency ever shows or tell you is probably a lie, everything is a need to know basis even within the agency, (or so I am told), and the general public never ever needs to know.
Much of the problems of our exercise of power last 30 years is due to restrictions on CIA. We are much stronger when we let the IA due whatever is necessary to protect us, overseas and I really don’t want to know about it.
What had happened is that we have allowed our intelligence agencies and armed forces to really belong to multinational corporate interest and not even the Country.
We are leaving Afghanistan now because nobody gives a shite about Russia getting a warm water port, gas pipelines etc, as the age of oil only has a decade or two left, abs defense contractors are fat and happy rn and there is a much much bigger threat on the horizon, (or so I hear)
Charlie Wilson’s War is about all you need to about this shithole

The guy who tweeted those photos and name is in the water color claims that is outside the airport in Kabul.
And in the comments people are saying it was an automobile accident, the taxi hit them.
