While technically a movie board topic, I’m posting this on the poly board bc this movie is a powerful rebuke to the commie BS that seems to be taking foothold in America.
It’s very entertaining, well acted and for the most part historically accurate.

I loved the trailer but I was wary of it being an evilslaveowner cliche. Thanks for the thread I'll likely see it this weekend.

I saw it today, the ending choked me up and it takes a lot to move me emotionally.

Me too. I shed a tears bc Washington and his Virginia militia were the baddest asses ever and then I shed bigger tears bc Virginia’s current governer is a communiss.

My problem is I want to see the movie but it’s summer and the yoofs are out and love to hang around the movie theater breaking into cars and causing trouble. I’ll wait til I can stream it.

At the conclusion of the movie Kelsey Grammar asks for donations so that people can see the movie for free. I donated bc everyone needs to see this movie.

That was Andy Serkis, not the Irwin brothers. But yeah, it was distributed by Angel.
