I’m voting for Faircloth, but am I the only person who doesn’t care about what a 19th JDC candidate thinks about abortion?

It’s not an issue that will ever be meaningfully before them.

It's more the whole "fake Republican" thing and running a deceptive campaign on the issues.

Are the blacks lining up for Myers? To the extent they vote at all in this runoff?

I’d imagine that Faircloth wins comfortably just from talking with friends about it. Outside of the government street/mid-city area, I don’t see much support for Myers around town.

This race is in a particular district, and I am unfamiliar with the details. I don't think it's really a NBR/democrat race (hence the fake Republican angle from Myers).

I’m voting for Faircloth bc Meyers would be controlled by the PI Billboard lawyers funding her campaign and she has no idea how to practice law.

Meyers has been a government employee with no consequences for being wrong her entire career. The fact that she’s campaigning on knowing how to fight crime is hilarious considering the current lawlessness in EBR Parish.

Everything about her is a bad idea.

Plus - if Louisiana ever had a state law challenge to its abortion rules, it would happen in the 19th - so I’m not so sure that she would never be deciding it. That said, IDGAF about her abortion stance either. The other red flags are enough for me.

It’s for Tim Kelley’s old seat. Definitely not NBR.

This is great. You can get so much information here on what type of person supports Myers vs. Faircloth just by reading between the lines.

There's no doubt now that I'm voting for Faircloth.

Is this “honorable person” the same one who scrubbed her social media of all her past political posts so voters would not know where she really stands on the issues…that honorable person?

I’ll give you a hint, an honorable person would stand by their views, not hide them.

You mean the same person who boasts about being endorsed by Baton Rouge’s current and former DAs??? Those same DAs that have made Baton Rouge one of the highest crime cities in the country. What kind of person would think that is a good idea.

True. I apparently live within it because signs are everywhere, I just have no clue where the lines are.

But any district that includes my neighborhood and that govt street corridor will include black voters in numbers.

That’s why I said meaningfully before her. Any case like that will be ultimately decided by the LASC.

First...you are weak...second you are voting for a known closet democrat who is running as a republican because she knows she would get creamed if she ran as a Democrat... so this solidifies previous comment

When I heard him say “I’m determined, now, more than ever” on the radio, I questioned his sincerity. He hasn’t done anything to help reduce crime. How can he be more determined if his initial determination was 0?

Not sure what an attorney in private practice can do to reduce crime. So instead you're going to vote for the prosecutor who could have actually done something to impact crime?

I know Jordan and have worked on cases with him and generally thought it was honest and good to work with. Don't know Myers at all. Just seems like an odd issue to jump on.

Do you actually have evidence that Jordan is funded by "defense" lawyers? What type of "defense" lawyers, insurance defense firms or criminal defense practitioners?

You seem to be spouting a lot of speaking points for someone claiming not to be associated with a campaign.

Nice to see you have some new material other than the "he runs every single race" shtick you post in each thread.
