Consider that this album is 60 years old and the model is now 90. The leftist shitestorm about Sweeny is anything but "liberal". It honestly makes me think of the Iranian Revolution. What was once a modern society with progressive ideas about women went back to the 4th century.
So I agree with the OP. The outrage over an attractive model in an advertisement is Puritanical at its core and will only alienate common sense voters.
