Yep - you can always be correct if you claim the weather will change. almost as reliable as the sun rising = oh shite - never mind.

Can we beg and pay the Sun not to heat up anymore. That seems to be the democrat way of doing things.

CO2 isn't a significant greenhouse gas. It's water vapor. Human activity is not creating more water.
This is the second point I make to any 'global warming' claim.
H2O vapor orders of magnitude more effective as a greenhouse gas and there is several orders of magnitude more of it.
There is a rebuttal to this fact that I never quite understood = something about the water cycle itself - the significance of which I admittedly do not understand.
Can anyone explain it like I was 5?

No, but humans do create quite a bit of water.
Combustion:
Long chain carbon molecule (mainly carbons and hydrogens) + heat and Oxygen = CO2 + H20 and a little NOx, SO2, non-combusted fuel (VOC) and particulate (smoke).
Regardless, not causing climate change in any substantial way. Just letting you know so you don't get caught with your pants down saying humans aren't creating more water.

No way! That huge flaming sphere of hot plasma in the sky?

We've seen research in the past say the same thing. This will be ignored.

Wait, you are telling me that the #1 source of energy for Earth that is 100x's our size and runs @ 5,770 degrees kelvin created by nuclear fusion from it's core is what really impacts our climate change and not emissions from man made production?

You mean that gigantic nuclear furnace 93 million miles away?
The one with a surface area of 2.4 trillion square miles emitting 5778K of heat from it's surface into space for perpetuity?

We may need that: The Coming Modern Grand Solar Minimum
“This global cooling during the upcoming grand solar minimum…would require inter-government efforts to tackle problems with heat and food supplies for the whole population of the Earth” (not to mention their livestock).
The pessimists ask, what else can go wrong? Well, cooling will increase the demand for heat, darker days will increase the demand for light, and unfavorable outside conditions will increase the demand for power for enclosed food production. With more power needed, the amount we currently rely on from solar installations will decrease as cloud cover limits their efficacy.
A decrease in solar ultraviolet radiation can be expected to slow the formation of ozone in the atmosphere, a lack of which tends to destabilize the jet stream, causing wilder weather. Wind generators turn off when the wind is excessively strong. As we now know, they are not immune from freezing in place. In the face of a greater demand for power, we will generate less.
Even worse is this: Historically, GSMs have been associated with extreme weather events. Floods, droughts, heavy snowfall, late springs, and early autumns have all resulted in famine. Famine during GSMs has led to starvation and societal upheaval. No one wants the former, and I think we’ve seen enough of the latter this past year or so to do for our lifetimes.
We’re about 16 months into this GSM, with 32 more years to go. Already 2019 and 2020 saw record low numbers of sunspots. We’ve had lower than expected crop harvests due to unseasonable rains both years. The April 2021 USDA World Agricultural Product report has articles detailing Taiwan’s expected 20% decrease in rice production this year over last, Cuba’s rice production 15% below its five-year average, Argentina's corn, Australia's cotton, Malaysia's palm oil -- all down, all due primarily to the weather. There are some expected bumper crops, all based on expanded acreage.

blaming human emissions were based on “narrow and incomplete data about the Sun’s total irradiance.”
Incredibly, these warmists have no fricking idea or interest as to causes of regular 0.1ma cyclical climatic fluctuations during our current ice age.
It's an important little detail, because those fluctuations are the cause of accompanying CO2 variances, not the result of them.

The water cycle is global. The warmers made up this stupid response 40 years ago that the water will fall in equal amounts on the globe but it will fall where it's not supposed to and not fall where it is supposed to.
IE, It will rain a lot in the ocean and raise the sea level instead of on the crops and cause desertification in the grain belt.

Lol, so you believe in global warming?

Many people are not aware that our Sun is a variable star. Its energy output is not constant. I've had arguments with liberal enviro climate folks at different gatherings over the years and I let them spout their nonsense about man made global warming/climate change. Then I drop the fact about our sun being a variable star and I ask them how does that figure into their equations. They don't have an answer for that.

We should load up all the global warming alarmists and send them to the sun so they can have a sit down meeting about taxing it.
