This is stupid. The mere fact that the House is GOP prevents the passage and even the proposal of all sorts of leftist garbage bills
Really, like all of the Ukrainian aid that they prevented and blocked?
It's just a double headed snake in DC and nothing is going to change. While people are bitching back and forth about the left and the right, I'm just over here stocking up ammo, MRE's, solar powering my water well, raising livestock, trapping hogs, and about to re-stock the freezer this hunting season. Oh, and I'm about to put a bunch of solar panels on the house, garage, and storage building. So when DC finally accomplishes ruining the dollar I'm going to have fresh water, air conditioning, and I'll be eating like a king.

The establishment Republicans controlled the House and Senate for the first two years of Trump's presidency and for the most part they sat on their hands on important issues, it was almost like they were waiting for the 2018 midterms to hand power back to the Dims.

The fact biden has not been impeached and that spending bills have been passed tells us lowlifes all we need to know about politicians in Washington
The house could impeach him, but the Dem Senate would not convict him, so what good woukd it do? It would probably help Dems politically more than Republicans.

Right. Republicans are bad but Democrats are even worse. Look at the reckless way we pulled out of Afghanistan. Look at the Green New Deal crap. Look at their insane social programs like:
CA Senator Scott Weiner (DEMOCRAT) is responsible for:
AB 957 (just passed): Punishes parents who don’t “affirm” their child’s trans identity
SB 107: Removes an out-of-state child from their parents if the child travels to California to obtain gender transition procedures
SB 145: Reduced penalty for offenders who sodomize children as young as 14
SB 866: Allows kids to consent to medical decisions without parental knowledge
SB 239: Reduces the penalty for knowingly giving AIDS without informing them
SB 132: Requires prisons to put males in female prisons if they claim to feel like a woman.

thanks to Trump backing herschel Walker, nothing the Mtg Jordan cult would pass can pass the senate.
the house right wing is terrified of really governing. do we have any bill replacing obamacare?
is there a meeting scheduled for house and senate leaders to agree on the next budget?
of course not. if you want anything done with both houses so close you must compromise but the house mtg jordan clique is unable.
they would called Rinos.

Most people just don't understand.
The GOP is made up of a mixed bag. Centrist to Far Right. The reason they are even where they are is because they allow Centrists.
The Democrats are a lockstep-far-left machine.
As an example, Blue Dog Democrats are not welcome in the Democratic party any longer. So they are pretty much Republicans. But, they won't be lockstep with the far right ever.

Both parties are cheeks of the same arse.
This nation is in serious need of an enema.

Winning elections by putting up conservative candidates who can win fixes this issue. But, I suspect that there will be a GOP repeat in 2024.

Other than impeach Biden, which would go nowhere in the Senate, I'm not sure what exactly you want them to do.
They have been able to stop a bunch of crap that would go through if the Dems had the house.
But as far as being able to assert their own will, again, what can you expect to be done when you barely have a majority in one of the two chambers?

I see this written every time with the addition of ... but we will get kamala
If impeached there will be a trial ! The evidence will be laid out on msnbc and cnn and covered by the wapo they cannot avoid that. The evidence will be the laptop, the crimes of hunter.
It will be incredibly damaging. Let the dems in the senate vote no... it's all political fodder but the American public gets the evidence a year before the election

I cannot believe I'm responding to you, arguably one of this boards top 5 idiots but here goes.
The house proposes a funding bill for our legal obligations. The house does not approve one single dollar for discretionary spending
See how simple that is. Let the senate say no or the president not sign. Whose fault is that.
