Your idiocy here doesn't allow assurance that anything you're posting is in jest.
Nothing I have posted even resembles idiocy. In fact, for most of the country, a large number of the posters here would be considered idiots.

Don't blame me for your inability to read the first sentence and not get it. Funny, it is always conservatives who claim libs play the race card, yet....

An example of what? Polls changing within 5 weeks of an election? Are you kidding?
An example of something that radically shifted voting.

What is hilarious is I often have conversations with conservative friends of mine who label those who don't know who they are voting for a month prior as idiots. They can't understand how someone can be undecided after the length of our campaigns.

Of course it's politically motivated. Why else is it being done?

At least we've abandoned the fraud nonsense.

Well if we are going to be honest what is the number 1 argument against limiting early voting?

A: Suppressing the minority vote.

If you have a thread about a topic whose number 1 argument against it evolves race....well you'll end up talking about race.

There should be some IQ-like requirement. It would reduce the numbers of voting Republicans and Democrats significantly.

I'd be ok with only allowing those who pay taxes (or are the spouse of an individual who pays taxes) to vote.

Why the population needs more than a month to vote is mind boggling.

Make it 2 weeks. You have an entire year to research, educate yourself and make plans to vote. It's both a privilege and a responsibility.

If you're so lazy that you can't vote in two weeks, then it obviously isn't that important to you. Get off your arse and take care of your responsibility (and/or exercise your privilege/right to vote) in a timely manner.

I swear, these types of laws/rulings are insulting, but the people that are being insulted are too stupid to realize it's even happening.

Nope. Voting should not be linked to money.

Another know-it-all lib twat. What rock did you crawl out from under?

I'll admit that Republicans want to surpress voter turn out when you admit Dems want no voter ID laws to allow voter fraud. Deal?

Surely you think it is politically motivated when voting days are extended as well, right?

When societal leeches stop voting in favor of more hand outs then I'll believe that statement. Until then, voting for most people is ALWAYS about money.

In a tax only voter base, you have people who are deciding what to do with the money THEY put into the system. You don't have it further tainted by hands in the cookie jar that didn't contribute any cookies.

If you are going to leech off the people of this country, and contribute nothing of societal value for years at a time, then you should have no say in how that money gets allocated.

And yet the poster mentioned blacks and no other minorities. Stay current racists!! There are millions of illegal messcans going to be bussed into the Midwest to vote! Funded by Soros!

The thing is you let the libs bring up race, then you play the race card. I addressed the issue without discussing race.

Suppressing the vote also hurts young people/students.

You mean voting before the contest is fully struck?
Voting party rather than candidate? Voting with limited knowledge?

Of course it's politically motivated. Why else is it being done?

They're not an evil southern state, so whatever they want to do about voting is fine.

Your logic is poor. Dems want more people to vote because it favors them. They don't need to cheat. They just need people to get out and vote. This is politics 101.

I'll happily admit to cheating when you acknowledge the Bush commissioned report on cheating, which found nothing. Lol

I'll also cop to the cheating when you explain how a republican with ID managed to vote several times in Wisconsin for Walker or how Dinesh cheated with an ID.

Yet you can't give a single example.

Todd Akin made his "legitimate rape" comment on August 19, 2012. He led in every single poll, but one which was tied, from January 2012 - August 20, 2012. After that date he trailed in every poll but one. LINK

Imagine if something similar happened within 35 days of an election.

I'll agree with on you up to an extent :yak:

I'm young and voted in Louisiana when I was a student while living in Indiana. Again, I fail to understand how limiting it from 35 to 28 days hurts anyone.

On a side note you've failed to respond to the numerous people asking why stop at 35 days and not increase to a larger number.

JFC. I didn't discuss race until Vols directly asked me a question. I avoided his general post about Dems and blacks.

This shouldn't be hard for you to understand.

We just assume you mean black people, just like you lib twats assume we want voter ID laws to surpress black voters. See how that works.

Typical racist liberal, thinks blacks can't take care of themselves. Bravo.
