blacks are so incompetent that they need extra days to vote.

c'mon man - work schedules are really tough these days. Having three jobs and overtime leaves little time to get to the polls.

Reagan was in one prez debate with Carter.
Wholly, irrelevant to the point, to your post, or to your assertions. Everyone knows There was a deciding moment in the 1980 election. Everyone knows when it occurred. It occurred well within the pre-election window of 35days. 1980 (as well as a litany of local, state and national elections) demonstrates things can change dramatically in close proximity to elections. FACT!

Yet when slapped in the face with it, for some inane reason you brought up the 1980 primaries. You grabbed at them, as if differences between primaries then and now might have some effect. As basis, you intimated there was little exposure to GOP candidates in the 1980 primaries. That assertion was patently false. You said Reagan was not involved in debates other than on 29 Oct. That assertion too, was patently false.

Your claim that there is some advantage to an extensive pre-election voting window, is likewise patently false.

right. You were wrong about the debates. Debates aren't the same now. Nor is coverage.

I didn't intimate anything. I stated the facts. I stated that media coverage is nowhere the same. No internet. No Fox. No Cnn.

I never said Reagan wasn't involved in debates. I said presidential debates. You seem to have a real problem reading and comprehending.

And I haven't claimed anything about advantage of early voting. You just keep making up strawmen.

I'm still waiting for you to present a single instance of a late October or early November surprise in the modern age.
