That is the Fox headline.
The hypocrisy has made it all the way into SCOTUS. Barret and Kagan go begging for more money for security while they rule on cases that weaken security and weaken law enforcement and prosecutors from doing their jobs that would provide them with security. Typical government response to just throw money at a problem that already has a solution ... if they just enforce the solutions.

OPs title is misleading. The TOTAL budget requested is $230M not just security.

Kagan and ACB. They even said the typical case loads of SCOTUS per year was in the 100s.

The Supreme Court is supposed to operate detached from politics. So many things that the Constitution intended are being toppled.
