This is the role Roberts has coveted all along - the much hyped, glamorous role of the "swing justice." That was who Kennedy used to be. Now Roberts know all eyes are on him because he's the true linchpin of power - for now. He's the justice on whom everything rides.

Not anymore. You used to could, but haven't been able to do so in a few years.
That's not to say that you couldn't take a stack of say... 1,000 ballots and postmark them all before the 3rd. As long as it's not too far out of date, the post office won't repostmark them.

Not every piece of mail gets postmarked by USPS. This is an issue that came out in the New York litigation during the primary. Below is a link to the district court decision that discusses some of the issues with postmarks. Unfortunately, this leaves a lot of discretion for local election boards to determine whether a ballot was postmarked by election day. Frankly, I think it sets up a Bush v. Gore situation in Pennsylvania.

SC Justices that rule in favor of them when you have weeks long early voting is even scarier to think about. No mail in ballot should ever count if it comes in on or after election day.

Early voting stops before election day, why can't something as BS as mail in ballots that takes no effort of you leaving your home not stop earlier? It's been a while a while since I absentee voted in the military but I'm pretty sure there was a deadline for that also.

This is the absolute only reason for allowing votes after election day. There are cutoffs for a reason, there is a reason election day is election day and not vote day.

Well for one, knowing the depths of Dim corruption I'm sure a postmark can be faked. And two, I'm sure they can tell if they are losing on election day and dump a bunch of make mail in ballots to fix it.
