Not close to being true. Carol Swain makes the case. There are tons of truly honest and wise folk who are Christian-based (NOT the cookie cutter version, the real thing) and though not well known, are nonetheless totally dedicated to honest and forthright governance. In fact, the less ties they have to traditional and corrupt DC, all the better.
IMO, Trump should introduce Swain as being on the VP short list ASAP. She is gold to MAGA and kryptonite to Leftist Dems. She'll bring at least 20% of Black Christian Americans.

This would be great and I hope CTH is right. But until I hear Trump himself name his Veep running mate, I’m not going to make any assumptions one way or the other.
I like everything about Trump except the people he chooses to surround himself with. His track record has not been great in that department.
Hopefully as the article states, Haley’s name will be a nonstarter for Trump.
