"Suffocate innovation and destroy freedom with bureaucracy and waste" - September 10, 2010

Everyone knew the moment it became law, including the Democrats, OBAMACARE was a failure though one step closer to universal heath care. Has anyone seen a family doctor who has a private office in his/her home in their neighborhood lately? You know, the doctor who can offer affordable service at an affordable price?
Didn't think so. Certainly the Democrats were not playing the long game to make the 1st Black POTUS look real bad to harm election chances for another. No way!!

The act’s supporters said it would achieve the long-sought goal of universal health insurance while preserving the high quality and freedom of choice that are the hallmarks of America’s health care system.
Peter Ferrara says the act’s supporters are wrong. “Obamacare,” he writes in the conclusion to this Heartland Policy Study, “is a disaster. Rather than liberate the American health care system from bureaucracy and waste, it blankets it with more of both, suffocating innovation and destroying freedom. The result is a system that is inconsistent with the freedom, prosperity, high living standards, and traditions of the American people.”
Ferrara has been writing books and reports on health care and entitlement reform for three decades. He served as a senior staff member in the White House Office of Policy Development under President Ronald Reagan and as associate deputy attorney general under President George H.W. Bush. He also has served as an associate professor of law at the George Mason University School of Law. He received an undergraduate degree in economics magna cum laude from Harvard College and a J.D. cum laude from Harvard Law School.

This is what happens when you subsidize demand instead of supply.

The GOP's inability to fight back comes from all these "mavericks" who never follow the party line

Gotta love Louisiana is home to the only Republican to vote yes on Obamacare. Cao probably thought it would ingratiate himself to LA's 2nd district but he was out on his arse after 2 years,

All I hear is "people are going to be hurt" without their insurance. Not one statement about the subsidies needed to cover the tremendous loss to the American taxpayer due to its breadth.

I think anyone with a semi functional brain knew what this crap was. My question is what is the Republican/Trump plan to replace it? They have had ample time to come up with something.
