Intake of drugs and alcohol is harmful to the developing brain? No surprise there. It has long been thought to reveal underlying issues, not sure if this study is suggesting causation though.

I just bumped it because Jdoc and Mbutterfly were claiming that several hundred people per year die from marijuana poisoning.

I told y'all that marijuana causes psychosis. Why do you think they find weed on every criminal they arrest

TL;DR getting high as frick all the time makes you paranoid even after stopping usage

The only effects I noticed when I quit smoking weed at age 26 is, I had more money and when the fog lifted I found that most of my progressive/liberal beliefs were tied back to my friends and getting high.

How much were you spending? Marijuana is pretty cheap unless you are an idiot who smokes excessively which is basically a waste.

Smoked a pack of pot? Miracle.
If it was any good one joint would obliterate a first time user to be unable to walk.
Thus, i call bullshite.
Ps. I have used and been around it for decades and never saw a "pack", thus bs #2.

Tell it to art linkletter.

Marijuana isn't good for a devopling brain? Color me shocked. Take your propaganda elsewhere, adults should be able to smoke pot if they want

I was thinking this may explain my bouts of paranoia.

I'm glad someone bumped this old piece of shite post. Reminds me how happy and grateful I am to not be doing chemo any more. I was in the middle of it then.

Also it reminds I need to go hit the pen before dinner and Stranger Things.

I'm pro-legalization, but you have to really bury your head in the sand to believe that there are no problems associated with marijuana usage and developing brains.

If you're an adult, go ahead and light up.

I'm assuming you do nothing unhealthy and only choose things that will extend your life-span.

You have to be a stoned idiot. . I said I had more money when I quit smoking weed, I didn't say I was bonging 24/7 baw! When I quit smoking weed in 1986 an ounce of good weed was $100-150 oz. On a good weekend me and the baws could burn some serious rope.

An ounce of Blonde Lebanese hash was $125 and quarter pounds of Sinsemilla were $150 for me back then. It was a couple hours drive back to the guys at the old airstrip in SW Ark woods, and those were some scary dudes, but it was cheap and steady supply.

Looking back it was probably tied in with Barry Seal, CIA, Mena Airport, all that stuff. A room stacked full of cocaine bricks and all ex military guys in the duck hunting camp ground year round is kinda suspicious for not being tied to that op.
