Homeless people shouldn’t have children.

They should be given sex and a bike.

Wait, so a person having to find a new place because their present condo building was sold is an "injustice"?

Someone being displaced from their housing that works for them sucks, no?

And it is perpetrated by the evil condo purchasers?

Is this your argument? That the people who purchased the condos are evil?

Sometimes I like to believe posters are not being snarky and are actually trying to engage in a discussion. The lies we tell ourselves, I guess

Can you quote the solution you're referring to? I don't recall offering a solution.

Life is not fair cubby. Also, everyone has an opportunity to better themselves. Some people do and some do not. Those who do not are not and should not be guaranteed anything. Those groups such as elderly, mentally challenged, children that cannot fend for their selves, etc. have many charitable organizations that they can seek help from. It is not the governments place to handle these issues. Government was put in place to keep the sovereignty of our country and not be a welfare/human resource department.

“Systemic injustice” is simply people using past experiences to dictate current behaviors.

In other words…. It is base human nature to do what is best for oneself. This behavior on a macro scale leads to obvious trends and patterns that lead to certain norms being favored and other norms being penalized

I would say Christians and short men are the most persecuted groups in society today

Its the only reason Marxism exists in the modern day. Normal folks have no use for it.

Do you deny that there were bad choices made?

Do you also deny that there is no system of injustice there. The injustice was brought on by 2 stupid homeless people deciding to have unprotected sex. No system at all.

The only structural disadvantages that are publicly known, openly called for, openly celebrated, and zealosly defended, are those meant to artificilaly elevate minorities and women in acedemia and working America.

I mean, that's the way things are. If a person is smart and ambitious, they are likely to accomplish more than if they are dumb and lazy. Now, to a degree ambition/hustle/drive is somewhat within a person's control (obviously these are affected by genetics, upbringing, etc., which are factors outside that person's control as well).

But every single person has a basket of strengths and weaknesses. We cannot fully control for these without going full Marxist. And that just shifts from a more natural (and, long-term, beneficial to all) market driven reward system to one of government/party-based cronyism. And Marxism doesn't produce anything in quantity except for shortages and misery.

So, to your broader point and to adopt Dinesh's argument: If we are to correct for history, how far back do we go? And if we don't go all the way back, why are we arbitrarily stopping at some point that you and your allies think is the correct point?

I'll hang up and listen.

Every system has winners and losers.

Marxism/Communism certainly has losers.

Islam does too.

Hindu caste system as well.

Every one of them.

You must've loved Obama.

Speaking of structural/systemic injustice, explain to us why Grandmothers who were simply standing outside of the Capitol Building on J6 were sent to prison.

Or, do you only care about the so-called injustice about which you can virtue-signal and feel like the "white savior" that gives you such a rush?

PS - You'd be a much, much better fit on DU. That place and Reddit are where superficial phonies like you generally hang out.

I want to play in the NBA and make millions of dollars, but I’m not good at basketball. I’m disadvantaged….but I really want to. It’s no fault of my own. Let’s pass laws to even the playing field.
