If where we started was no enriched uranium for Iran, no Navy in Iran, no Air Force in Iran, the ability to produce missiles and drones down to under 5% of original capacity, the ability to fund terrorist proxies completely diminished, the ability to supply Russia with drones completely diminished, the ability to shut the strait of Hormuz when ever they want completely gone and over 250 leaders of that terrible regime dead. Then yea we are right back where we started.

Lmao give it a month and it will be the exact same as it was before we killed a couple of their political figures, that area has been fricked for years and killing a couple guys isn’t changing that
And they had the strait closed until today, all we did was make them aware of how much power they have by being able to control it

There is an element of truth to this. The hand-wringing over the last 8 weeks and the constant shouts at the market and oil prices are just noise.
Those wedded to Trump's failure have been mentally masturbating for weeks. The reality is that as of today, the market has been basically flat for the duration. Some probably jumped ship and lost money and the spec traders swapped cash, but the reality is that the market is up 3% YTD and 27% for the year. Oil is off the panic bubble and hovering at ~$82ish.
What has been accomplished? Substantial damage was done to Iran's military capability and much of their senior leadership has been eliminated. I don't really know too much about the new boss; there was speculation that he might not be alive as he had not been seen publicly. That may have changed and I missed it.
Is the new regime (and make no mistake, it is a collection of new players) more reasonable than the last? Will it abandon its nuclear ambitions? Hard to say at this point, but I guess we will find out soon enough.
