this country works for people who can self manage.
You folks that cant need govt intervention.
If you could self manage, you would want less govt interference in the markets.

What a fricking overtly emotional woman.

Well, it was easy to make money with tools like (defunct) TD Ameritrades “sink or swim” in a bullish market. I’m guilty of playing it but never with principle monies. Lost a lot too.
The old way of hours and hours researching stocks is not stylish in the Information Age but, all the Whales spend time doing it.
Day trading for the most part is gambling when the emperors clothes are removed.

That's been a problem in this country for a while. Letting emotions dictate decisions
Agreed. Dems ideologies are nothing more than allowing their emotions to dictate their opinion.
Throwing critical thinking and reason to the side.
Actually, it's a female trait.

Only ones that will lose their money are the ones that made dumb financial decisions. It's always the same few boomers on this board that freak out when the stock market crashes. They should've made better financial decisions. They probably had all their money in Blockbuster stocks.
It's comical that you think the millions of Americans who have trillions of dollars in pension plans have any control over the buying and selling of their pension's funds.
You actually think the 150,000 state employees in Louisiana have any control over the buying and selling of the stocks in their combined $15,800,000,000 retirement funds?
To say that the only ones losing money are the ones "who made dumb financial decisions" is pretty fricking stupid.

There are investors and there are traders. Traders make money off short term movements. Investors make money off growth and profit of underlying companies
Traders like hype
Investors ignore hype
