They’ve had a good run in St. Louis.

"There's still the misconception about kneeling. People still take it politically. People still take is as 'you're disgracing the flag, or you're disgracing the soldiers.' People still want to take it that way even though it's been publicized and said that that is not at all what it's about. It has been said that it has nothing to do with that, but people still want to take it like that. And it's frustrating to still have that conversation," Flaherty said.

It takes a real idiot in a marketing department to think that adding a turd in their customers punch bowl is going to work wonders for them.

I really think MLB, NFL, NBA and collegiate sports deserve the forthcoming fan base abandonment.

Welp, I have no desire to catch any cards games anymore. I would love to be in Busch to hear the boos though . This wont go over well with Cardinals fans.

Black ppl have been dehumanized, brutalized, criminalized + terrorized by America for centuries, & are expected to join your commemoration of “independence”, while you enslaved our ancestors. We reject your celebration of white supremacy & look forward to liberation for all.

I've been saying most of this starts with marketing firms and ad agencies. They are all full of young SJW's just beaming to show how woke they are.

Thanks for posting this as I wouldn't have seen it.

First, it was that little Crybaby, Hensley, complaining about the Braves' "Tomahawk Chop" last year, and now another player embarrassing himself over something political.
I hope the Cardinals go 0-60.

I’m sure liberals and black people will be tripping over themselves to watch Major League Baseball

Not to mention the BLM organization is completely anti-capitalism. These teams and players forget that capitalism is the reason their franchises are worth $1 billion or more and why players can get $100 million contracts to play a game. If Americans can't afford to spend a couple hundred bucks for a family of 4 to go watch a game or pay for a cable package that has the sports channels to watch, that money is going to dry up for players and teams.

We can either take your word Flaherty, or we can simply go to BLM’s website and read their mission statements. I’ll take the latter.
